A real authentic Japanese restaurant which might be the only one owned by a Japanese chef…? It is kind of hard to find on this touristy strip in downtown but it’s worth walking through the whole length of the short strip to find their door. Sushi is freshly made and tastes very good. The service is also excellent. Good, thoughtful pricing and anyone can afford their fine cuisine.Vegetarian options: Sushi, tempuraDietary restrictions: Gluten free (but not soy sauce)

My absolute favourite sushi place in town. This is my happy place. A regular visit, particularly for lunch. I usually go for the deluxe sushi lunch, but daily specials are also excellent value. Unagi is a highlight.
