I called a couple of days before and ordered a feast for 20. Oh my! What a feast!Ordering was super easy over the phone. The suggestions we bang on exactly what I wanted. Pickup was also so easy, even with the 18 trays of food we brought home. Everything was hot and ready when we arrived.Starters of onion bhajai, samosas, and chicken Tikka drumsticks. We didn't technically fight over the bhajai, but there may have been a bit of shoving and hand-slapping. Delicious!Mains were butter chicken, aloo gobi, kadai paneer, and dal makhani. Served with classic jeera rice and a mountain of Naan. I'm fairly sure we wiped the bottom of the trays with the naan. The gravy from the butter chicken was perfection.We also had gulab jamun, which were delicious, though we hardly had any room left in our tummies to really enjoy them.This was our second year having Bombay Bistro cater our birthday feast, and we are already planning the menu for next year.Vegetarian options: We have several vegetarian friends amongst our party. We only added butter chicken to our menu for the omnivores amongst us. The samosas were awesome, the bhajai were fought over, the dal was creamy and structured. It was chef's kiss.
Best Chole Bature in whole Halifax. Have been to almost all the restaurants in Halifax, but never had I this much tasty chole and batures. The quantity is awesome along with raita, salad and achaar.Awesome and best in all Halifax.
