I have been to Brawta many times and it has been great, except for today. Only one employee was in the restaurant, she didn’t know the menu, she didn’t know how to work the cash register. She had to call 2 people just to take our order. I ordered a jerk pork sandwich ( my favourite) but they had no buns. I ordered a jerk pork with rice. Our 2 plates came with chicken, not pork, when we finally received our meals the pork was dry but flavourful. They didn’t have any oxtail gravy. I felt really bad for the employee who was not properly trained and by herself. I need to find a new Jamaican restaurant.

My wife had a craving for jerk pork, so we decided to try this restaurant. The food tasted great, and the service was excellent. However, I gave it 3 stars mainly due to the portion sizes. You can get more food for less at other establishments. I was very disappointed with the amount of food I got for close to $50 for 2 orders.
Also, I wouldn’t recommend dining in with a large group, as the space feels more suited for couples or smaller parties.

was in there for 15 minutes and couldn’t get an order placed, not enough employees and the one guy was too busy on the phone to deal with customers in store, and was unkind when i asked how long that wait would be

Having travelled all through the Caribbean and lived there for a while, I can undoubtedly proclaim that this jerk chicken, with rice and beans, was by far the most delicious evvah!!! Purely authentic and succulently tasty! Thanks for the authentic island meal! ❤️

I went in and the kitchen was closed. No patties, but the waitress suggested goat and as I was a little apprehensive I gave in as it was a long drive and didn't want to disappoint them. I was I'll for 2 days and wondered if this was sitting around way past it's to serve date. Sorry if I offended anyone but if a patron stipulates they have certain allergies but you still peddle old food at 30 dollars it's only fitting to speak your truth. I never asked for my money back or plan on going back anytime soon. Thanks but no thanks.
