I worked with them for catering a series of weekly events throughout the month of February. The food was phenomenal! Everyone enjoyed the rotating menu. The food went so quickly it was hard to even get pictures. No complaints what so ever. Everyone we interacted with was also lovely, had great communication and customer service. Highly recommend

Wagwan, I came here last night and was surprised. I want to make clear I understand this is Halifax’s only Jamaican spot and therefore it is very special this place even exists in Canada. I ordered the oxtail and there was no Jerk sauce and the oxtail was not very meaty and there weren’t enough pieces to justify the price (30$😮). I still think if you haven’t been to a Caribbean restaurant and live in Halifax you must go. God bless you.

Had the Oxtail, hot, with mashed potatoes and plantains. Darn tasty. Just the right kick of heat to pair with the spice.
Mashed potatoes were AMAZING. Didn't expect that. Recommend them. The plantains were pretty tasty too.

I have tried this place more than three times. The food is very decent since we don’t have a lot of options for Jamaican food in Halifax very disappointed with their service with skip the dishes. They have cancelled my order three times in the past week. I would like their management to look into it. It’s either they are over busy or they’re not paying attention to the orders coming in. I wasted 30min waiting for you guys to confirm the order then it was canceled very frustrating and disappointing
Respond to the owner We we will definitely give it a second chance because our purpose is to help businesses succeeded, move forward and fix the issues. The customer facing we have used skip the dishes for the past five years and your restaurant is the only place that we faced that issue with I would recommend removing skip the dish because that will give your restaurant a bad rap .

I’m giving a 5 star because I know you’re a small business and I don’t wanna hurt your business. But I would highly recommend you to improve in terms of portions on Uber Eats. I ordered a BOGO Jerk Chicken roti today. While I understand that portions are usually a bit less when it’s BOGO, my curry chicken roti literally only had two shreds of chicken. Like two strings not even proper pieces. It literally looked like someone accidentally put a few strings of chicken in a chickpea roti. I had ordered the rice and jerk chicken before on Uber Eats and even that had kind of more bones than meat. I loved the taste though that’s 10/10 but the portions and the amount of meat in the pieces you are giving at least on the Uber Eats orders should improve. I understand you are a small business that’s why I’m still leaving a 5 star review but I’d really appreciate if you took some steps to improve on that regard. I would also love to try your food in the store some day. Hope you are able to address this and would love to try your food again ❤️
