This place was a little hard to find on the habourfront. It was empty when we went in, although we still waited a long time for 2 milkshakes to be made. The shakes themselves were absolutely heavenly, wow. There's some language barrier issues with the kids working the shop, and we didn't feel like staying as the interior wasn't all that inviting. We walked a few feet to the end of the pier and enjoyed our shakes there. Every sip of that mocha shake was better than the last.

They no longer serve pistachio chocolate! But the service is still good, even though the server ignored me a couple times, but in their defense, they seemed busy.

Really beautiful and tasty dishes with big portions! One dessert could probably be shared between two people.

We did takeout. But it was ok ok experience. We were waiting for our order for 40 minutes and I Said to my friend let’s just pay . The lady had no clue what we ordered and they were the ones who said pay later , when your order will ready. Not a problem we ordered 40 minutes late again. Than they took long to prepare and also sat on the table , it was clear that waffles will get cold .Well, they did get cold , and when we arrived home after all that wait and struggle. There was only one scoop of ice cream and other two were whip-cream . I paid $20 , it wasn’t worth my money .

A welcoming stop on the waterfront with table service. We tried the milk chocolate crepe, hot chocolate and the iced cappuccino, which was a creamy blend of ice cream and the perfect amt of espresso topped with fresh cream. Everything was very tasty. It is a great spot for a date night in downtown Halifax. Can't wait to go back next time.

I had an enjoyable experience! The only thing I would nitpick would be the lighting inside the restaurant. It gives the place a rather dark and gloomy vibe, especially during night time. They also have really friendly and attentive staff, which was a delight. The food was delicious. I would recommend their dark/white waffles. I also tried both their milky chocolate milkshake and their dark chocolate milkshake and they honestly tasted very similar haha. I expected the dark one to be slightly more bitter. Nothing particularly bad or anything but, something I found interesting. They also have a lava cake on the menu minus the lava. It seemed more like brownies to me to be honest. But it was still really tasty!Overall, I would still recommend this to anyone!

I am writing this to complain about your blatant racist actions today/ My family asked in with the intent to check out your business and order something while my young son asked for the washroom How dare you refuse this and asked that I buy something first when clearly you had no concern for my patronage and could not in good faith take my word as I was looking forward to being a first time customer- I will review your business in every platform available in a negative light and I hope this deters other people of colour as I am furious and will continue to tell everyone about this incident!! Absolutely rude disgusting ignorant people you have displayed your staff and yourself to be!! iF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD!!!

Very kind young people running this place! We got the milk chocolate fondue and it was great. The chocolate was delicious, the waffles were toasty, brownies were chewy and dense, and the fruit was fresh. Fondue chocolate was quite sweet - would consider mixing the dark and the milk chocolate next time. We also ordered the mocha and it was good.

The desserts are fancy af. I recommend the chocolate fondue, waffles, crepes... Honestly everything slaps here. Sweet little location as well.

We intentionally held off on enjoying dessert after our meal at the previous establishment with the hopes of enjoying something sweeter here. The staff were very friendly, but the service was slow and the food was overpriced for what was delivered. We enjoyed what we ordered, but the menu description didn't exactly align with what was delivered. We ordered a Quadruple Brownie Parfait under the Cake section of the menu, but was delivered ice cream and brownie in a glass cup. One of the coffees were never delivered, but I rather enjoyed the Espresso with Ice Cream.

This is a nice quiet spot on the harbourfront but they have to do a better job advertising their menu. We went based on what we found on Google, but was was the Quebec menu with a number of protein options while the Halifax location is dessert only. That said if you want a sweet treat it's a good place to go and you don't have to deal with the mega lineup at Cows which is very close by.

Nice decor, limited menu, good for meeting with friends once a while but nothing special when it comes to food. This place has 'really high ratings', that make me question about haligonian palettes and their knowledge of food in general. Although the type of place is rare in Halifax, probably that explains high ratings. Ideally this is a 3.5 but since it is over rated already, giving it a 3.
