Lovely spot for a hearty meal right on the waterfront, with a view of the water everywhere you look. Jill was my server and she was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Everything came out in a timely manner and the main dish was piping hot. Started with the smoked salmon and then the seafood casserole - would highly recommend both, and all local ingredients quite reasonable priced!
Having experienced both menus;Upstairs and Downstairs, it’s a must stop for anyone looking for a local or international culinary experience. In summer, you can dine right on the water overlooking the famous Halifax Harbour.

Salty’s has a nice view if it wasn’t for the fog. I did enjoy the lobster roll on the croissant but it wasn’t very filling. It didn’t have enough filling inside the croissant. The soup was good but it had a bit too much ginger.
