When it appeared everything else had closed for the day, we found this wonderful cafe and had some fantastic coffee and a truly perfect chocolate cookie here. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and made several great recommendations for things to visit in the neighbourhood. Sincerely thrilled we happened upon this gem!

Very cool cafe. We stopped in quickly to grab beverages. The vibe is eclectic, there was a flutist playing beautifully. The tables have a chessboard top and were being well used. Would highly recommend for a chill vibe.

My favorite spot in Halifax. Great vibes, cool decor, nestled patio out back where you can smoke. Love it. Mexispresso is on point. Play some chess and chill for a min.

Visiting from Vancouver and was intrigued by the Mexiexpresso. Cute shop, felt very cozy. The Mexiexpresso was delicious!! Highly recommend. The owner was also super kind and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to see during our stay here!

I had a mixed experience here. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which was great. The tacos were just okay, but the french fries were a big disappointment. They were cold, soggy, and tasted like they were made days ago. Hopefully, they can improve the quality of their food in the future.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican food experience, it does not get any better than here. The place is cozy, everyone is friendly and they will make you feel just like family.

We love this place and the ambiance. Coffee is nice, it's authentic and down to earth. The owner is very pleasant as well!
