Food was cold and mediocre. I did not detect any spices or flavouring. The size of salad was not consistent. My friends had a decent portion, my portion was very small, compared to theirs. Sever was not friendly.

Reta's is a delightful spot where every dish bursts with flavor and the service is always warm and welcoming. From the first bite to the last, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. It's a quiet, cozy place that lets you truly enjoy your meal and the company you're with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing dining experience with amazing food!
I wish the plating of the duck dish would be a bit different. We couldn't enjoy the sauce much without ordering the sourdough bread. Also if spoons were provided without asking as the sauces go to waste and we cannot enjoy them with the fork so the amazing sauces are wasted.

We went for an anniversary dinner and it was spectacular. We ordered the scallops and pork belly appetizers and they were both amazing. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection and the pork belly was so tender and flavourful with a pear sauce that is unmatched. For our mains we ordered the tuna and the short rib and they were both over the top. This restaurant offers fine dinning without a pretentious atmosphere. Very comfortable little restaurant and some of the best food I’ve ever had! All in (before tip) and after tax our dinner cost $130CA including two drinks, two appetizers and two entrees. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful addition to The North End! Everything was great, from cocktails to food to service. Parisian gnocchi cacio e pepe was a highlight. A surprising amount of flavour for such a delicate dish. I could've easily eaten 2 more bowls of it! 🤤🤤 Can't wait to return

We went for dinner at their new location, and ordered the salmon and duck. Both were delicious, perfectly cooked, and unique delicate flavours. Had the hazelnut cake for desert, which was also quite tasty.
Dining at the Hop Scotch Dinner Club, I was blown away by one dish in particular. The scallops were just divine, seared to a perfect crisp on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. It's rare to find that balance executed so flawlessly. Then there was the 'nduja sauce and red lentils – oh, what a pairing! The sauce added just the right kick, and the lentils brought a comforting earthiness that grounded the dish. And those fermented carrots? Their sharpness and the skill in their preparation were nothing short of impressive. The dish was also a treat for the eyes, adorned with calendula petals and a drizzle of their oil, adding a splash of color and a hint of elegance. It was an unforgettable experience, a beautiful blend of flavors, textures, and visual appeal, all thanks to the creativity and skill of the chefs at Hop Scotch Dinner Club.

I hired Hopscotch Dinner Club for dinner for 6 at our home and it was an amazing experience. I made a few suggestions for food and they put together the perfect menu accompanied by the ideal wines. Excellent communication during the planning process. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Our guest were very impressed. I would highly recommend this culinary team. For us it will be one of those unforgettable dining experiences.
