Hands Down the Best Shawarma place in Halifax !!
I’ve been to City Shawarma many times, and every single visit has been consistently amazing. The food is always incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with real love and pride. You can truly taste the tradition in every bite — from their perfectly seasoned shawarma to their crispy falafels, fluffy rice, and fresh, vibrant salads.
The restaurant is spotless, the service is always friendly, and you can tell the team truly cares about what they do. My friend Ahmad Qadoomi, recommended this place to me, and I have to say — what an amazing recommendation! He was absolutely right about how much pride these guys take in their food and how authentic their flavors are.
City Shawarma has easily become my go-to spot in Halifax for authentic Middle Eastern food. Highly recommend!

Oh my!! Hands down this place was amazing! We got two chicken shawarma plates with pita. Very generous sized portions. Filled with flavour, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious! Thank you so much
We always have a great experience at this place. The shwarmas are amazing and taste authentic, the portions are also massive at a very reasonable price. Definitely one of our favourite places in Halifax for Middle Eastern food!
