Outstanding!
For me, the most important part of any dining experience is the staff. Maurizio's has chosen a team that's exceptional. The food was exceptional, especially the Torta al Limone.
100/10 Experience. The food was soooo delicious. We tried a bit of everything, spicy vodka pasta which I am still thinking about…lamb lasagna, antipasto board, tiramisu 🤤. Service was spectacular and Kate made sure we were taken care of. Vibes are immaculate… I could go on.. We had a great time and will be back.

Maurizio’s is the perfect place for a date night, with a beautiful, cozy, and sexy space featuring rich dark red tones. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and lively, making it a fantastic spot for a relaxed evening. The food is outstanding and delicious. Highlights include the radicchio salad, Vitello Tonnato, and the Bucatini Carbonara, which is the best carbonara ever. The gnocchi is incredibly soft and delicious, and the Veal Marsala is a favorite dish. The beef tenderloin is perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the tuna carpaccio is incredibly fresh and flavourful. The cappelletti lobster stuffed pasta and short rib gnocchi are highly recommended. Don’t skip the tiramisu or the torta al limone cake. The cocktails are amazing, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. The service is attentive, polished, knowledgeable, and friendly. Bar snacks like lamb-stuffed olives and cured pork and fruit crostini are also recommended. Maurizio’s delivers a memorable dining experience and is a great night out in Halifax.
