Lots of great vegetarian options. The staff are always kind and helpful. Sometimes can be a loud atmosphere, but that is to be expected for the location. The staff were good at helping find a table in a less busy area of the restaurant to help with the noise

Love stopping here for a patio pint with the dog in the summer. Happy hour till 7 pm for $6 draught beers is great! Recently went for food before going to see Come From Away at the Neptune Theatre, ordered the pork belly burger, it might just be the best burger I've ever had, it was phenomenal!!! Can't wait to go back for another!

Generally, a great spot to go out, I have been here many times and have had lots of fun in the basement. The waitstaff is super friendly and generally, I've never had an issue here.
Just find as of late that the bouncers and security staff are on a power trip, which detracts from the entire atmosphere and environment! Sad to see such a great place being ruined by bouncers pushing their own agenda. Generally not one to complain, but I think this is something that can be improved, and I wanted to provide my feedback based on my own personal experience!

The waitresses are amazing! I had the fried chicken sandwich sandwich and onion rings and they were both amazing, they tasted soo good. Definitely will be back

The economy show shop bar is a regular hot spot in downtown Halifax. Great variety of pints, awesome eats, and great friendly service - what else do you really need but your attention!

We had dinner prior to a Neptune theatre show and it was amazing! My old haunt has aged along with me and now has sophisticated food. Service was top drawer! Highly recommend!

A truly unique space, carved out of what were once three different shops, the Economy Show Shop is a charming restaurant and bar. The decor is off beat: with a full size tree in one part, and several different little rooms and alcoves. Everything is painted in eye-catching colours, and vintage records, movie posters, and other things decorate the walls. The food options are typical bar fare with a Halifax twist (our meals included nachos, a chicken sandwich, fried pepperoni, and donair poutine). The beer list is reasonable and includes some uncommon pours (Newfoundland & Labrador's Black Horse, for example). The service was prompt and our server helpful and pleasant
