Much better than the dive it used to be. The pan fried haddock is good. The wings are not great.

Easily one of if not the best restaurant I've been to since moving to Halifax. The fries are insanely good, fresha and crispy with a perfect seasoning combo.

Not sure what the average of 4.2/5, we had a great meal and listened to great music! Had the house special pizza and fried shrimp, both were great thought shrimp seemed like something you could purchase at Safeway, it was all presented well! Pizza crust was reminiscent of old school pizza 74 crust that was baked in oil - golden crusty goodness. Server was friendly, upbeat, and did a great job managing all tables solo. Superb beighbourhood joint that you won't be disappointed with!!

Overall this place wasn't anything crazy. Just a basic Italian restaurant. Had pizza which was pretty okay but tbh I could make it my self and taste the same.

Freeman’s had always been my go to place to eat with friends. I’ve always compared it to Cheers!
Prior to Covid I was there all the time. Got to know the staff and Lisa, the manager at the time. They were what drew me back. The friendliest! Since Covid I have started to return. There is all new staff since that time, however the new staff is also great! Shoutout to Rachel! She is so friendly, provides great customer service and has a good memory remembering her customers!
She’s a great asset to Freemans! Whenever friends ask where to go to eat, I always say Freeman’s!
They have fabulous Greek Pizza and Greek salad!
