Freeman's Little New York

Me and my boyfriend visited here on June 2nd 2025,as we don’t get to get out much and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and it was very quiet when we were there it wasn’t busy at all which was very nice. Our server was amazing she made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice with our suggestions and questions about the food and drinks. I’m not really a person who likes to sit down places and eat but this place was very nice and we will for sure be attending again. I got the breakfast skillet and my boyfriend got the chicken club wrap with poutine. It tastes great 5/5

My friend and I went to Freeman's today for her birthday dinner. Rachel, our waitress was absolutely fabulous! She provided the absolute best service. We felt as though we were her only customers, her service was that personal! Thank you Rachel for going above and beyond for us.

I was a regular at their Wednesday trivia. I loved going and it was always a good time. However, slowly it started to get worse. The prices of the food started to rise, but quality went down, and several good items were taken off the menu.

Freeman’s used to have absolutely stellar service, but over the last four or five weeks, it’s has gotten worse. The last handful of times I went, I was either not able to order for nearly 20 minutes after sitting down, ordered something and never received it, or was not given my bill (I had to track somebody down to pay my bill after all my friends had already had their bills brought but not mine).

The most recent time I went, we order two pizzas and my friend got a burger. Only one of the pizzas actually came, we had to remind them about the second one, which came half an hour later and was burnt, and my friend never received his burger but that didn’t stop them from trying to charge him.

It really sucks to be having such a negative experience lately because I used to love going to Freeman’s. It was a great place with great service, and yeah the prices were never amazing, but it was usually worth it. Now I can’t really say that anymore.

They have horrible service. There can be only three tables of people and they still take forever to bring you water or take your order. Not even busy and they can just be blabbing at the bar with somebody drinking. Not taking any notice to who came first. Absolutely ridiculous service compared to other places. And definitely don't go on your lunch break, between the wait time of being noticed or your order taken, you also have to wait longer than most places for your bill. Again not even busy. Can't say anything bad about the food. Besides them also forgetting they already took your order and forgot to put it in....also heard a waitress do that, same talker who just leans on the bar to talk to the older gents.

A quaint spot to chill with friends or dates. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

We will not be back, no one else in our section, no one rushed over to take our irders.I think management should train their staff or at least be on the floor to see how it's being run , between the waitress and kitchen, they got nothing right in our orders , we got drinks we didn't order, requested white bread, club came in wholewheat, fries were cold , and totals of our bill were double than what the foods cost was. Total disaster on a Sat. Afternoon and counted 8 people in the entire room. Can't imagine what it would be like if busy.

The food is quite good. The place is *incredibly* noisy, even when there was no live music, moreso than some nightclubs. Our dinner party left with sore voices from yelling.

Staff are the best there! Get the Ceasar from the drink menu- yummy.

Great people, good burgers, not a lot of options and service is a bit impersonal.

Ordered through Uber Eats. They gave the delivery driver the wrong order. When I called the restaurant, the woman on the phone said they would get their own delivery driver to deliver it as it was 10 minutes away. She said the driver would be at our home in 20 minutes. Forty minutes later I called back to see where the delivery driver was and the same woman said he was not going to be delivering it. It I wanted it I needed to contact Uber Eats. I asked if someone was planning on calling me to tell me that after she explicitly said their driver was bringing me my food. She said no. When I asked to speak with a manager she sat the phone down and hung up on me 10 minutes later. When I called back, she picked up the phone and hung up. When I called back again she told me the manager was no longer in the building and there was no one else I could speak with.
