I can never understand why someone who is easily annoyed by social interaction would work in a customer facing role; maybe it’s because I’m a cis male, maybe it’s because I’m brown skinned? — regardless, the girl with curly brown hair (and white skinned) came off immediately rude and dismissive (which I’ve now noticed other reviewers point out as well),
Any cafe can sell halfway decent coffee (which this place does accomplish) but the coffee itself is always accompanied by who is preparing it (and in some way or another ‘imbues’ it so to speak with their personality, attitude, presentation; etc.). In a place where inclusivity and equality is supposedly held in the highest of regards, I found it ironic (or maybe even offensive) that the people representing the business and these values have no time for their customers (aka…. The people paying them).
All in all, the glitter was cool but not worth the trouble. Too many other places to go to!

Shared a lunch with my daughter here. Apple & brie grilled cheese sandwich on excellent bread, a blueberry muffin (LOTS of blueberries) and 2 cups of Maritime Breakfast tea. Great service, great vibe here. Support the Glitterbean!

A gem so close to the Tupper Medical building. I stopped into the Glitter Bean in the afternoon for a tea and a blueberry muffin and it was so good! Saved the day. I had to get my order to go but it is a very bright, cute spot where it is also nice to sit and chill a while.

I love this place and especially their coffee. Another unique part the food donation counter. They have big heart.
Big fat open sign on, door wide open, sat at the counter for 5 minutes no one there. Went upstairs to the thrift store and they said they were closed. Need better indicators if a business is open or closed. Google hours need to be updated as it says it's open.

Having a delightful and restful break between errands at the Glitter Bean Cafe, on the corner of Spring Garden and Carleton, Halifax. The staff are friendly, and the coffee and the Artichoke/Red Pepper/Mozerella Tea Buiscuit are delicious. Check out their menu and visit the next time you are in the area. Highly recommended.

Went in for a drink and a treat.I got a Berry Scone and I asked to have it heated but it was hard on the outer edges.Overall itwasverygood .Nice spot and also they had a thrift there bus today.I strongly recommend the Coconut Cold brew.Pleasant lady working there this am
