Love this place! Their seasonal menus are always fun and creative and I can trust my favourites on the main menus to always be banging! The staff is great, the vibes are fantastic (their instagram is super funny and they post about events in store and local all the time you should follow them). My favourite cafe in Halifax! They still do masking Sundays and a bunch of other accessibility features which makes it not only diverse but accessible and welcoming for EVERYONE! Many will say this but the glitter bean DELIVERS!

Felt the staff was a bit rude/snappy here which was shocking as they are so for their community and all coming off as being all about kindness and so on, but I am not part of the community and felt I was treated differently becuase of it. I will continue to support as I feel their community is in a constant war and supporting in any way can help some!

I used to love coming here - it's a cozy spot with great diversity. But today? Not so much. The staff were deep in conversation about some pretty sensitive topics (immigration, politics) and even trash-talking other local cafes in Halifax/Bedford. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but maybe save those conversations for when customers aren't around? The barista who took my order was also really cold and distant for no reason. As a former barista myself, I know how important customer service is. Hope things improve soon!

Staff is nice, none of my friends liked the coffee but I can see why some would like it (extremely bitter/dark, not for me)
The floors were dirty and a couple of flies around my seat did not help.
And yes, we tried out their wi fi password for all ‘glitter bean’ networks but it just didn’t connect for some reason (might concern if you’re looking to get some work done there)
