2 block walk from the Lord Nelson hotel, the staff were superb and very friendly, we picked up food to go and as we waited for our food the staff brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly. We enjoyed the food so much that we when back a second time a few days later.
This is one my favourite restaurants in the city, amazing service, delicious food, quality ingredients. I’ve been here at least 6 times and it is always perfect. Get the calamari.

Mappatura Bistro offers delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide great service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The space is bright and welcoming, with natural light during the day and candles in the evening. The menu features amazing dishes such as calamari, tagliatelle, and carbonara, along with a perfect Caesar salad and lemon tart with just the right crust. They also serve delicious mocktails and unique cocktails, making it a great spot for a date night or celebration.
The calamari is a standout, with a tomato sauce and olives that elevate it to a new level. The food is constantly amazing, with the spaghetti Bolognese and tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe praised for their perfect portions and incredible sauces. The oysters are noted as buttery and delicious, while the desserts, including the spiced chocolate crème brûlée and tiramisu, are equally impressive.
The restaurant is known for its unmatched service, with staff who are attentive to customers' needs and make diners feel at home. Parking is available on the side of the building, and the restaurant is considered one of Halifax’s gems, despite its slightly higher prices.
