Hamachi Kita Sushi & Asian Flare

I ordered spicy salmon and spicy tuna. I'm not into hunks of plain raw fish. They sent it without the spicy mayo. Waste of $30. Edit: I messaged them on social media to let them know about the error. I sent pictures. They told me I'm lying and it has the spicy sauce. I then ate one in case they were right. It does not have the spicy sauce. So not only did they mess up the order. They then called me a liar. Lovely business practices.

Came in for a group lunch shortly after opening, maybe 3 other tables occupied (already had their food or were finishing) at the time and it still took us at least 40 mins to get our food. Can’t imagine the wait times if you’re there when it’s busy.
Roles are pretty small considering the price, and flavours didn’t exactly “pop” like at some other restaurants.
Music was loud, notable increased in surrounding conversation volume after it began. Had to raise my voice to talk to the people across from me. Not great for those people who may be sensitive to noise.

I had an amazing time at Hamachi Kita Restaurant! The ambiance was warm and stylish, perfect for any occasion. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish was well-prepared, from the crispy tempura to the perfectly balanced teriyaki. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and I’d highly recommend it!

The ambiance is stunning, with lovely lighting that creates a warm atmosphere. The sushi is incredibly fresh! I also appreciate the charming teapot and the beautiful flooring. No one in restaurant. Ordered take udon noodle stir fry with chicken. It was dripping in grease. I will never eat there again

My wife, son, and I dined out on Friday evening. Upon entering, a departing customer remarked, 'I waited two hours, good luck.' Although the restaurant was not excessively busy, we were seated promptly. We received our menus, placed our orders, and were served our beverages. Approximately 40 minutes later, we received our first course. Subsequently, we experienced an additional wait of one hour and 20 minutes, observing other tables that had arrived after us receive their orders. At this point, I had reached my limit and cancelled my order, settling the bill for the dishes we had received. This establishment is poorly managed, and I will not be returning, particularly given Halifax's abundance of exceptional restaurants.

I am an Uber delivery man. At that time, the Uber software sent orders for food pickup at around 8 o'clock. While waiting for the food, the customer sent me a message saying that he ordered the food at 6:30. I saw that I had been waiting for 40 minutes. I don’t know what happened. In the end, I waited for an hour in this restaurant and didn’t get the food. In the end, I don’t know why my 2 orders were all cancelled. I wasted an hour standing there waiting, and in the end, this restaurant didn’t even say an apology. I was very angry. There is no credibility at all! !

Was really goid and fresh...portion were good.
Only complain in the restaurant was really cold..
Then for take out...good place to go
