i got dumplings, po boy sandwich and egg roll. i found the po boy sandwich a bit dry, and the dumplings and egg roll were pretty good!
the price for the dumplings for the quantity was a bit expensive. they were tasty though, open to coming back and trying the more authentic items!
inside was very cute and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming :)

Authentic and delicious, the beef brisket wonton noodles are especially good, and the usual pineapple oil, Swiss chicken wings and carrot cake are all good

I recently visited this Hong Kong-style café in Halifax and was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were authentic and delicious, offering a true taste of Hong Kong. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and portion sizes. The menu has a wide variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Additionally, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I highly recommend this café for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Hong Kong cuisine!

Not many options around Dal these days, so I thought I'd give it another shot after having been disappointed last time. (I was there with my fiancé who is from HK and she was disappointed too.)
The most dry chicken fried noodles I ever had. The chicken was bland, the noodles were dry, and you needed to search for any veggies and sprouts with a magnifying glass. Not recommended.
(The staff is friendly)

What do you do when the conference food is not really your thing and you are hungry before the gala which won’t start until a few hours later? You RUN to Jacky’s to get that craving satisfied.
Very delighted to find a place filled with so much love and good food that brings me “home”. We don’t even have anything comparable here in London, Ontario despite the probably bigger HongKonger population ?
Too many things we wanted to try so we asked the server to help me pick. I ended up deciding on the beef noodle and the cold
Hong Kong milk tea topped with the cutest milk tea bear. Both are prepared perfectly and hit the spot just right.
I wish I have the “room” to try the turnip cakes, the baked rice and everything else on the menu, but with a gala in a few hours I can’t!
Ended up buying a pineapple bun for breakfast the next day and I hope I will be back again some day to try the rest.
Prices is very fair considering where it is located and well worth it for the quality of food served.
Don’t miss this hidden gem!

On my first visit to Halifax, my friend and I were craving a Hong Kong-style restaurant. We discovered an amazing hidden gem located inside a health center. The creative interior decor made us feel like we were in a Hong Kong.
We ordered Hong Kong-style iced milk tea and a hot lemon drink. To our surprise, the milk tea tasted even better than what we've had in Hong Kong.
I highly recommend this place if you visit Halifax.

The bolo bao with butter was so soft, fresh, and delicious (and not too sweet)! Fish congee was also very tasty. I enjoyed the nice casual vibe of the cafe. I’ll definitely come back.
