Amazing experience overall. The food and service is top notch! What more could you ask for? Our server, Brianna, was awesome. We were with our relatives, Yves and Brenda, who are regulars. The staff know them well and I could see they treat everyone with the same care. It’s no wonder they’re regulars.

Our experience at Jim's family restaurant was awesome. The service was quick, prices were reasonable and a nice portion size. Brianna, our server, was friendly, attentive and helpful in recommending some delicious choices. We will be telling our friends and family in NB to be sure to check this place out! My clubhouse was the worst sandwich I have ever had. The restaurant was freezing cold so by the time your plate got to the table the fries were cold. The turkey was discussing I can't believe they would even serve it
My husband had the special steak but Med rare is Well done! Oh well there are many restaurants in the bedford area I will probably not go there again. Our waitress was wonderful.

Staff excellent and friendly. Food service was quick. Seafood platter and fish and chips good. Desert, coconut cream pie and strawberry short cake excellent. However, seafood chowder, terrible. Extremely salty with no content . Mostly potato. Not what was stated in menu. Not worth the price.

Food was pretty good. Service was very good. The restaurant could use a little TLC and was very smokey smelling from the deep fryers which wasn't the most welcoming
For decades Jim's was one of my parents "go to" places whenever they came into the city. Mom was there for the clams & scallops, Dad for a variety - haddock tips, chicken parm and lasagna being a few. I'd get the clubhouse, was never disappointed.
Tonight I gave the meatloaf a try and I'll tell you what - I did not regret the choice. Huge piece of homemade meaty deliciousness. Will absolutely be going back for more. The other's with me had the hot turkey sandwich (loved it!) and the liver with onions & bacon (also a hit!). We were stuffed and happy as we left. What more could a person want?!

I am writing this review on behalf on my mother and her friends because they are too kind to complain themselves.
My mother's best friend reserved a private area in your restaurant to gather with friends and family after a memorial service for her late husband. They were seated and were ready to order when a waitress approached them and asked if they would be willing to give up the space because a large group had come in. My Mom's friend responded no that they had specifically reserved the private space because of the somber nature of the occasion. Moments later a second waitress approached my mother's party and again asked if they would mind moving because the waitresses wanted the reserved space for the other group to which the party replied no that they would be keeping the space as they had reserved it. Again a third waitress approached them and requested that they move. My mother's group was becoming upset because of the waitresses constant harassment so they agreed to move. They received no apologies and no compensation on their meals despite the inconvenience of having to move the entire group from their RESERVED table or the fact that instead of taking their orders so they could have a meal together the waitresses spent the first portion of their visit hounding them to move. This is unacceptable to treat a group of customers in such a disrespectful manner I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
