The best food in the city!!
The variety of dishes can appeal to anyone. They are allergy friendly and extremely skilled in the kitchen. I am making this restaurant my go to place for Chinese cuisine.
Probably THE BEST chinese food I have ever had. wow !!

The Orient offers a heightened Chinese food experience, comparable to fine dining. Everything is prepared with perfect culinary technique. The chicken potstickers are crispy, soft and delicate with a punchy ginger sauce. The Singapore & Dan Dan Noodles are amazing, and the short ribs are melt-in-your-mouth decadent. The egg custard has a flaky buttery pastry with a warm filling and silky merengue, dotted with edible flowers. Other dishes include pork egg rolls, egg and spring rolls, dumplings, lemon chicken, Shanghai fried noodles, and mixed veggies with chicken. The service is very friendly, with staff described as patient and kind. The restaurant itself is very clean and calming. A special Hong Kong egg tart birthday dessert is perfect for celebrations. The Orient is a gem and the best Chinese food in Halifax and Nova Scotia.
