“Had lunch at Tasty Kitchen today and can't wait to go back again. The menu is limited, but the food is absolutely delicious. I had the Singapore noodles and my friend had the fried noodles with chicken and we would definitely recommend them!“

“It was my first try, was a bit afraid but ended up loving it. The soup is very creamy, the portion is huge.

“Stopped by Canton Garden on a Tuesday evening after work with a couple friends and honestly it might become our new go-to spot. The wonton soup was exactly what I needed, rich broth and perfectly delicate wrappers, way better than I expected from a weeknight out. Our server was super attentive without being hovery, kept everything moving at a good pace so we weren't rushing but never felt forgotten either. Definitely going to drag the whole crew here on a weekend soon because I feel like we only scratched the surface of the menu.“

“Stopped in last Friday evening after wandering around the waterfront and honestly had no idea what to expect from a place I just stumbled across. The beef and broccoli was perfectly sauced, not too sweet, and the portions were way more generous than I anticipated for the price. Our server was so friendly and actually took a minute to recommend a few dishes when she noticed we were overwhelmed by the menu. If I lived in Halifax I would be here every week, and I am already planning to come back on my next trip out east.“

“We were looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant during our cruiseship stops at Halifax, our group of 6 were surprisingly amazed at the quality of the food. It was so good that we returned again the next day. Owner and the cook (wife) were very accommodating, food we ordered were off the menu. Fish and mussels were very fresh, servings portion were generous. They also do a lot take out orders, would be great for locals to order food for events.“

“The lemon chicken was so tasty from here, the portions were great as well. I literally ate here two years ago and still remember eating that delicious meal by the old library on the bench, 5 stars, easy.

Also, even the food in that one star review looks really good lol.“

“We called ahead to order and asked for the dishes to be made “deconstructed” so we could rebuild the meal after our two hour drive. The server on the phone was so understanding and they went above and beyond and packaged all of the meat separate from the sauces so we could reheat it. They even made our Cantonese fried noodles “build your own” and labeled everything so we could make it as intended fresh and hot at home. They packaged the soup broth separate from the toppings so the wontons didn't absorb all of the broth. The service was so thoughtful and they were so happy to accommodate this peculiar request! It seems like a simple gesture but took them extra time and they were pleased to do it for us. The restaurant was busy when we went to pick up and they packaged everything with a smile. The reheat process went well and the food was delicious. It’s made with love and you can tell! We will try the dine in experience next time as home is a two hour drive away. Thank you for supper :)“

“Singapore Noodles - our favourite menu item, and maybe the restaurant's best kept secret! Generous serving of curried noodles with carrot, green pepper, onion and bean sprouts along with shrimp, egg, and barbeque port slices. One order is plenty for two.“

“Horrible customer service, probably the worst I have ever encountered to be honest. If you enjoy being belittled, being called a liar, and spending 3 hours on a takeout fiasco LOOK no further this is the place for you. Make sure you repeat what you are ordering SEVERAL times. Make sure they repeat it back to you SEVERAL times. If you order something and receive something you did not order, you may get them to agree to bring you what you did order, HOWEVER, you will be called a liar. You will be asked prove they are at fault for the mistake or they will hold your replacement food hostage in your parking lot. You may have to snatch the food you paid for out of the driver's hands. I am not joking. I am speaking from personal experience.“

“Pay NO ATTENTION TO BAD REVIEWS We live in Claton Park and found the ChineseVietnamese food the best we have ordered since moving here from Ontario a few years back. It was a little expensive but more than made up for that in quality.
