“Saturday evening (Feb 18) we randomly decided to stop by Jinloong for supper. We don't eat out much these days, but we were feeling like a treat. :) My husband had a combo Special A. It was a huge portion and delicious. I want to mention that my husband always finishes his plate. However, this meal was not only delicious but filling too. He had enough for in dining and leftovers for a take away lunch on Monday ! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, with no meat or shrimp. Our waiter was so helpful to make a lovely fresh enormous bowl of noodles with extra veggies for me. It was wonderful and I went home with 3 days of leftovers!! YAY!! This was such a great meal for "penny pinches" like us haha I'd like to say our experience at Jinloong was 5 stars, but I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the lovely, helpful service we received from our waiter. He was a delight!! So kind, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant don't look any further than Jinloong. The homemade sauces are absolutely worth every penny. The portions are fantastic, and the service is GREAT! We'll be back soon. I've included a photo of all our leftovers. “I have been going to Hongs since early childhood, but most recently celebrated my post-wedding lunch there with my and my husband’s extended families. The food and the service have NEVER been anything short of perfection! We especially love the ginger beef, Hong’s chicken, stir fry duck, and Cantonese style egg noodles, but every dish we have tried has been delicious! The wonton soup we recently had was the best I have very tasted. Be sure to order lots of extras, the leftovers are mind blowing!“

“Stopped by Canton Garden on a Tuesday evening after work with a couple friends and honestly it might become our new go-to spot. The wonton soup was exactly what I needed, rich broth and perfectly delicate wrappers, way better than I expected from a weeknight out. Our server was super attentive without being hovery, kept everything moving at a good pace so we weren't rushing but never felt forgotten either. Definitely going to drag the whole crew here on a weekend soon because I feel like we only scratched the surface of the menu.“

“Easy Foodies catered food for our staff party at the beginning of February. We ordered their “Party for 30” selection as well as a few additions. Not only was the food delicious as always (this is my neighbourhood Chinese restaurant), but they packed it so thoughtfully for my when I picked it up, included all the plates, cutlery and even the serve ware for scooping which was ABOVE and BEYOND. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.“

“Pretty good place to stop by if you’re on a bit of a budget!

I think the food was quite generous for the price you are paying! It was just a bit puzzling that the place was an empty when I visited, maybe it is being outshined by the pubs in the area.

Service is friendly! And food comes out quick. Economical too!“

Consistantly good here. Combo comes with an egg roll as well. I always order an extra so I get two meals. My son however, usually finishes his😆.
Chicken fried rice, egg roll, beef and broccoli, chicken balls, the combo is under 17$

“I ordered delivery to my house and it came very fast and was still very warm. The prices might seem a little expensive but you get so much food its totally worth it. I ordered C15 and I had leftovers for 2 days! Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had.“

“Just had black beef combo plate with mixed veggies and fried rice and it was very good. Liked the egg roll as it was meat and you could taste the ginger. Walked in and ordered takeout and it took a reasonable amount of time to prepare. Very tasty and fresh without a strong salty flavor often associated with MSG. Will order again. Sister orders wonton soup often and says the best she has had and any of the Halifax Dartmouth restaurants.“

“Very good bowl of ramen. Had the Dan Dan, which was advertised as spicy and numbing from Sichuan pepper but was very mild. Barely any heat or Sichuan peppercorn numbness, but it was still a very flavourful and plentiful bowl of noodles. Excellent pickles, and good bite on the noodles.“

“Pay NO ATTENTION TO BAD REVIEWS We live in Claton Park and found the ChineseVietnamese food the best we have ordered since moving here from Ontario a few years back. It was a little expensive but more than made up for that in quality. “Horrible customer service, probably the worst I have ever encountered to be honest. If you enjoy being belittled, being called a liar, and spending 3 hours on a takeout fiasco LOOK no further this is the place for you. Make sure you repeat what you are ordering SEVERAL times. Make sure they repeat it back to you SEVERAL times. If you order something and receive something you did not order, you may get them to agree to bring you what you did order, HOWEVER, you will be called a liar. You will be asked prove they are at fault for the mistake or they will hold your replacement food hostage in your parking lot. You may have to snatch the food you paid for out of the driver's hands. I am not joking. I am speaking from personal experience.“

“Today at 11:30 at Mic Mac Mall: I usually enjoy the Noodles and Mongolian Beef. However today the beef in the Mongolian was very chewy and tough so I won’t get that anymore, since they are using “cheaper” meat. I got take-out and I get the fact the food would be cold, but it only takes me 10 mins to get home. Also, the girls need to speak up so they can be heard better. It wasn’t that noisy, and my hearing is fine.“

“I've had good egg foo young, but this is by far the best I've ever had. the tempura shrimp was crispy and lightly coated. I enjoy broccoli with beef and this did not disappoint. My only complaint is I live too far away to come back any time soon but will surely miss the owners and the food... I highly recommend!“
