“Absolutely delicious sushi, our new “go to” sushi restaurant whenever we come into the city! Very accommodating with regard to peanut/sesame allergy and gf options. Generous portions, fresh, tasty maki, outstanding rolls, friendly service, cosy atmosphere. We found very reasonable underground parking close by which is great.“

“Came in on a Tuesday evening while visiting Halifax from Ontario and honestly wasn't expecting much, but Cha Baa Thai completely won me over. The pad see ew was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a nice wok char that you just don't get back home. Our server was genuinely warm and checked in without hovering, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and unhurried. If you're passing through the city, make the time for this place - it's the kind of spot locals clearly love for good reason.“

“I had such a fantastic experience at this restaurant!
The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the ginger chicken with rice , and it came with a spring roll on the side—everything was perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying.
The ginger flavor really stood out without being overpowering, and the spring roll was crispy and fresh.
My friend ordered a Thai noodle dish loaded with vegetables and tiger prawns, and I couldn’t resist trying a bite—it was amazing. The noodles were so flavorful and cooked just right, and the prawns were juicy and perfectly seasoned. Definitely something I’d order next time!
We had orange juice for drinks and water.
Overall, the quality of the food, the variety of dishes, and how everything was prepared made this an outstanding experience.
