Now, I must begin this review by acknowledging the fact that I have never visited this business.
HOWEVER, I am certain that someone from this store, perhaps Julien themselves, have been casting horrific spells on me! I am continuously waking in the middle of the night in pools of my own blood with violent visions of croissants and pain au chocolat!!
Please, Julien, if you read this, stop casting these spells and remove the growth-preventing-rune you have so obviously placed upon my vegetable garden and I will happily raise this to a 5 star review and perhaps even come see you in Halifax.
MIGHT visit again.

Great place with excellent pastries and really nice waitresses. Super and cosy atmosphere, ideal for some remote working.

This is now Lucy's Bistro and it's not French at all anymore. There are the typical Canadian pieces of dough. The coffee is quite good.
Parking: There are parking spaces all around here.

This is a wonderful little hidden gem. We loved the teas, coffees, and pastries. Lots of fresh made products, and no matter what you select, you won't be disappointed. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff.

No croissant, no pain au chocolat, no brioche this Sunday morning at 8 a.m.!
Very disappointing for a bakery-pastry shop that displays "Vendée brioche" and rides on the notoriety of French pastries. FAKE!
No croissant, no brioche, no chocolate croissant this Sunday morning, at 8:00.
Very disappointing for a bakery-pastry shop that advertises itself as the "brioche vendéenne" and wrinkles on the reputation of French bakeries-pastries. FAKE!

Perfect little neighbourhood cafe. A hallmark of the north end for a few decades now. Highly recommended! Any season. Lovely patio in summer, cozy in winter. Huge mural on the wall depicts local personalities.

The food here is amazing. I got a variety of pastries to take home and everyone loved them. I stayed and had coffee and chocolate croissant with a friend and it was delicious and a wonderful atmosphere to catch up. The person working the counter was not the most friendly but that doesn’t really bother me, but that is why I didn’t give service 5/5. Everything else was perfection. Highly recommend for a special treat and the other little shops next door made for lovely browsing afterwards.

Julien's never disappoints. Delightful latte and the flakiest croissants "in the garden". Such a lovely way to start the day.

Amazing Americano (my wife says the best!) Wonderful desserts and food!
Latte tastes great, but needs to be hotter. You can always ask for "extra hot" if you are concerned about that.
Love this place and everything about it!!!
