We love Los Toros. Halifax is our favorite getaway (we live in the U.S.) and we always go straight to Los Toros when we get here. The gambas al ajillo is the best shrimp dish on the Eastern seaboard. The paella is excellent. And the basic sangria is eminently sippable. Servers Paul and Georgia are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. And the restaurant is right on the waterfront. Love it!

Was not impressed. rude and slow staff. only 2 other tables in the place. Then as we we’re leaving door/host staff were smoking on the patio and then threw their cigarette butts on the ground. Gross. Visit date 13-09-2025 3:45 pm

I was absolutely blown away by my experience at Los Toros here in Halifax! The quality of the food is nothing short of extraordinary. I had the pasta with parmesan sauce and seafood, and it was so delicious that I honestly dare to say there might not be humans working in that kitchen, it must be celestial beings cooking back there!
The service was just as incredible. Branded, the waiter, was hands-down the most amazing server I’ve ever met, attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. The food came out fast, and everything was perfectly timed, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.
If you’re in Halifax and looking for a place where every bite feels like a little piece of heaven, Los Toros is the spot. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the charcuterie, the potatas Bravas, and calamari. Then we had the chocolate churros, and they were perfection. Our server Hilary was friendly and great as well. Such a great meal, we'll definitely be back!

If paying $64 for this dish is fine for you, then go ahead. But having tips included in the bill feels crazy to me — I want to have the right as a customer to decide whether to leave a tip or not. The presentation of the dish for that price was not what I expected; I’ve been to restaurants that did much better for the same money. I don’t recommend it.
