Lou Pécou Pizzeria Reviews
The pizza Lou Fada and Lou Buou were delicious. Our server Solana was lovely, informative and obviously enjoyed serving. It was so nice to see Cedric chat with patrons at the tables and check on his guests. A great dinner. Thank-you.
Absolutely delicious meal, attentive service, and cosy, clean atmosphere! Hands down, this is the best pizza in Halifax. I hope everyone has a chance to experience this delightful spot!
One of the best dining experiences EVER and, I would describe myself as a consummate and organize my travels so I can meet some of the world’s great chefs and eat their grub. This little place in little unknown out-of-the way cities is extraordinary and, I believe will help make Halifax a foodie destination.

Lou Pécou Pizzeria provides a warm and cozy dining experience that makes guests feel like family. The charcuterie board is highly recommended, and the pagnol (cheesy mushroom) pizza remains a customer favorite. The owner and chef from Marseille cares about quality, often collaborating with local farmers to source fresh ingredients. Customers praise the great drink list, attentive service, and friendly atmosphere. The menu features a variety of delicious pizzas, including the Truffula and Sauvage, along with elegant starters, mouthwatering pastries, and desserts, many made with local and in-house ingredients. The restaurant is especially known for its beautifully fermented dough, original toppings, and extraordinary crusts that hold toppings well without falling apart. Visitors enjoy the selection of desserts and artisanal ice cream, including a divine homemade ice cream affogato. The chef’s dedication and craftsmanship turn every meal into a memorable experience, making Lou Pécou Pizzeria a go-to spot for pizza lovers. The pizzas are amazing, with classic and unique options, and the spaghetti is phenomenal. The food is so good, and the atmosphere is friendly, with a great vibe highlighted by family touches throughout the restaurant. The pizza crust is extraordinary, and the addition of honey in some dishes adds a lovely sweetness. While the restaurant can get noisy due to its popularity, there is always good takeout service for those who prefer to enjoy their meals at home.
