Ordered 4 pizzas and a tomato salad for takeout. They were fast (15 min from the time I ordered) and all flavors were delicious. While I was waiting I took in the atmosphere which was very chill, cozy, and romantic. Highly recommend the truffala and “one night in marseille” pizzas. Yum! One star off for service since they sort of ignored me for a bit as I was trying to order.

I had high hopes walking into Lou Pécou, thanks to the flood of glowing press and social media buzz. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The pizza was fine and small, nothing memorable, but certainly not worth the premium price tag. What really soured the visit was the indoor seating policy: reservations required. Outdoor seating was available, but not ideal given the weather and vibe I was hoping for.
It felt more like a curated tourist experience than a genuine neighborhood gem. The ambiance was trying hard to impress, but the substance just wasn’t there.
If you’re looking for a truly satisfying slice in Halifax, skip the fluff and head to Yeah Yeahs Pizza instead. Better food, better value, and no pretentious hoops to jump through.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious, with classic and unique creative options. As much love as the pizza gets, our spaghetti was phenomenal, don't be afraid to stray from what is popular here! The staff were attentive and super friendly, including the head chef, a true pleasure!

Wow that was so delicious. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and the lemon tart was amazing. I wish I lived here so I could come again.

The best pizza I have had in the Maritime, and that is saying a lot. The service was beyond exceptional.
The only problem and a big one, everyone's conversation bounced off walls, ceilings etc.
We could hear everything being said in the kitchen, the huge laughter of a gentleman three tables over (and it was obnoxiously loud), the people behind us, etc.
If you have tinnitus, or sensitive hearing, I am afraid to say, stay away from this restaurant.
It is so unfortunately because the food is beyond exceptional.
To the owners: Great product, excellent service, brilliant presentation....We can't be the first to say the acoustics of your restaurant can be unbearable.
I googled sound proofing for restaurants, and there are so many options.
All the best.

This place deserves 5++++, the food is so good, the pizza dough is wonderful, the best we have ever had, (and we have traveled and lived in many cities), all the pizzas are so so good, the appetizers are wow and we love the salads. We eat there once a week at least because of the fresh excellent food and the friendly atmosphere.

Great pizza, good value, excellent service.
Wonderful pizzeria. Quality ingredients, intimate restaurant with an outdoor patio. The pate brise lemon taste is dreamy. Innovative and extensive menu and wine list.

The food was amazing! We shared and loved the arancini. Both pizzas were excellent and everything was very flavourful. The crème brulée was the perfect end to the meal. The service was friendly, professional, and unobtrusive. We will definitely return.

Food is good, atmosphere is cute. Don't love the area it's in but it's fine. Priced way too high. Margherita pizza should sit around $16, but they are charging $24. Just know you are overpaying. If you are ok with that, then why not.. it's tasty!
