Great egg rolls

We have been going here since we moved to Sackville. We love the food (LOVE the egg rolls) and my daughter LOVES Amanda and Shelley. All the staff are great; Amanda and Shelley go above and beyond �

I dined at May Garden on New Year’s Day with friends, and it was a fantastic experience. We ordered Combo 9, 3, and 8, and all the dishes came out hot and freshly made. We also ordered cocktails to the meal, which gave it a refreshing touch. On top of that, the servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel well cared for throughout. It was a perfect way to start the year!

On New Year’s Day, I ordered thru Uber, $91.00 worth of food and not 5 minutes later I had to cancel the order due to banking error, than re-ordered the same order thru Uber again. They not only refused me my refund for the first order, the second order took over 30 minutes to get here and the egg rolls were cold and the rest was barely warm. I tracked the uber driver on the app and he went all the way into Rockingham in Bedford with my food before he delivered mine just up the road from May Garden and he had his whole family in the car with him. I understand uber is not the restaurant problem but to chat the me almost $100 for canceling the food not even 5 minutes after I placed it is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Needless to say I will not be returning and I will let others know.

Cantonese Chow Mein and spring rolls were our dish. The food is not tasty at all, and in the spring roll the meat had a lot of tough sinew. Don’t go.

We were a party of six with reservations for 6pm. Ordered food at 6:40pm and was not served until 7:30pm, that was after complaining to the manager at 7:15 that we were still waiting for food. He promised a discount on the food for the long wait and we received 10% off. What a joke. Will never go back there. Horrible service and customer appreciation.

They added a predetermined amount for a tip to the bill which I did not like but they did refund it and without thinking I did not give a tip which I realized later "sorry " . The food was ok but I always find Chinese Food a little too sweet.

Worst Chinese takeout I’ve ever had, lacked flavour. Egg roll was a weird paste inside. Skip it and find something else

Love the bonsai tree we were seated next to.

I commented to my partner, how much more flavorful fried rice used to be years ago. Everyone makes it bland now, IMHO.

I prefer an eggroll with the spring- roll style filling, not the brown paste.

To be honest, 1. His Chinese food tastes very unauthentic. 2. The dishes that Westerners like, such as egg roll series, hibiscus series, etc., are also very unauthentic. 3. The taste of both Chinese and Western food is terrible. 4. The decoration of this store is very good and gives people a very good atmosphere.
