This is the spot! Food is incredible, guacamole is fresh, burritos are hot, and the margaritas hit. So glad to have this gem in our neighbourhood. Get out of downtown and check this place out.

Probably as authentic of Mexican food you can get in Halifax (when the staff all speaks Spanish it’s a good sign).

Despite its unassuming residential business facade, it is a charming restaurant that serves the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had in Halifax!

We visited before and enjoyed that first time. Unfortunately, we visited today as a big group and the lady at the front wasn’t in a good mood and that totally changed the service quality. The man that came out of the kitchen when our group arrived was giving unhappy glances as we were getting settled. It wasn’t a very pleasant visit this time.

**A point of clarity: The man wasn’t serving customers. He was up behind the counter at least and mostly in the kitchen afterwards. We visited late afternoon / late lunch / early dinner.**

It is an excellent place to share with family and friends. The food is very good and the staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I loved the daily specials on burritos and taco parties.

I recommend it 10/10.

Kid-friendliness: It is a place where children feel comfortable and have special dishes for them. I recommend so you can take your children to enjoy excellent Mexican food.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for an early supper. We’ve been wanting to try the food here for a while now. All I can say is wow! It was delicious! I felt like I was walking into a little cantina in Mexico. The tacos were amazing, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back soon!
