I am blind and travel with a guide dog and under the Blind Persons Rights Act of Nova Scotia, I have the right to enter a restaurant with my guide dog without showing any paperwork. The hostess at this establishment insisted on seeing the paperwork, luckily I had it and I only showed it because I just wanted to try one of their beers before rushing back to my cruise ship.
