This place is wonderful. I was sad I was only recently introduced to this restaurant as they are soon to be closing their doors after many great years. My single experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was thorough. I wish I knew about this place sooner but completely understand why it's been a popular little spot as long as it has. ThankYou for a great evening with Delicious as authentic Mexican food. I brought some home to my family who also loved it.

A cool, hole in the wall, authentic Mexican place. The Mexican potatoes were epic and the quesadilla was pretty good, if not a little much on the lettuce. But everything overall was awesome, ambience was rad, and service was very sweet

I seriously can't express enough how amazing they are. Delicious authentic Mexican food at a great price and incredibly kind staff? You literally can't get better than that. Great service and amazing food. We ordered the trio which came with housemade nachos, salsa, rojas hot sauce and guacamole. Then we ordered enchiladas which came with beans and Mexican rice. All of those were amazing. Then we got combo number 10 which came with enchilada and chimichanga which also came with beans and Mexican rice. Service was amazing and the food came out in seconds. The shop has Mexican sauces, cookies and chillies in the shop. Overall great experience. Price range was very economical. Total bill after 3 people were full was 60~ bucks. Totally worth it. Street parking only. Would definitely recommend for authentic Mexican food!!

Arrive at 6pm Tuesday, we had our choice of tables- the window to watch life go by outside. They also have a streets side patio. . By 630 there were 3 other tables filled. Service & food were great

I just had the Chicken Enchiladas Verdes combo with rice and refried beans, and asked for "spicy". Spicy for real! and was just so good. Such excellent quality and price, still, after all these years.

Very tasty & authentic Mexican food! We had the tacos, three different flavours all very yummy, chicken tostada (crunchy & delicious) and the rojas enchilada meal with Mexican potatoes which was filling and delicious. No wonder they have been rated best restaurant outside of downtown! Friendly service as well, overall great experience and we'll be back to try the burritos!

Ordered take-out and had re fried beans all over everything, and I didn't even order refried beans. Not only was the order wrong but the food was bland, would not recommend spending your money here.

Amazing Mexican food just outside downtown Halifax. It may look like a ma and pops diner. The food is worth it. Staff is very friendly as well. Will be going back.
