Great little brunch spot. Good coffee and nice menu options. Disappointed that they use processed cheese slices though.
Really cute, cozy quaint shop. Had lemon blueberry pancakes and buttermilk waffles and they were very tasty! Friendly and courteous staff.

This is a hidden gem that everyone should know about! From the vibes to the food everything is 5 stars. Cozy, and relaxed with friendly staff. We had the Benny and blueberry lemon pancakes and wouldn't change a thing about either. The hollandaise sauce was just right, the side potatoes amazing and the pancakes were the perfect size. All the teas are available iced which was a pleasant bonus. We will be returning next time we are in town.

Went for brunch at this family run restaurant on a Sunday.
The food is good and the service friendly. The coffee is good too.
I had the croissant breakfast sandwich, which I would order again. My wife had the eggs Benedict; flavourful too.
Highly recommended.

Miel et Beurre Breakfast Cafe was more than just a meal; it was an embodiment of the warm and welcoming spirit I encountered throughout Halifax. From the moment we stepped inside, the 'homemade' feel of the cafe was palpable, and the exceptional service provided by Ruth made us feel instantly at ease. My Waffles and Berries were extraordinarily delicious, and my sister raved about her Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich. What truly stood out, however, was the genuine kindness and openness we experienced. The unique gesture of sharing their recipe books with patrons was incredibly generous. Furthermore, an unexpected and heartwarming interaction with a fellow diner, who expressed such genuine appreciation and welcome to Halifax, truly exemplified the friendly nature of Haligonians. Miel et Beurre wasn't just a place to eat; it was an experience that touched the heart and perfectly reflected the loving embrace of the people of Halifax. If you are visiting Halifax, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Miel et Beurre. Prepare to be greeted with warmth, enjoy wonderfully delicious food, and create a memory you won't soon forget – you absolutely will not regret it!

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast, service was a bit slow but well worth the wait. Lots of different options available for the savoury smackers or sweet to others. Wished there was more pancake with eggs options!
