Small take-out friendly cafe. Offers coffee and drinks and some vegan baked goods including the apple crumble cake which was delicious.
They have an item they list as vegan but contains honey which is labeled but the worker was able to tell me what it as vegan and was helpful.

My favourite coffee in the city hands down. HOWEVER: have heard rumblings that the owner isn’t great to his staff. They also frequently display copies of a “Police Vision” magazine… This is really not what I like to see given the questionable behaviour displayed by police forces in recent years but… yeah. Service is quick, drinks are to die for and all the baked goods I’ve tried have been tasty. In this warmer months I enjoy sitting outside but this isn’t a place I would ever come to to study as there are only two very small tables inside, and fair warning they have a wasp problem in the summers. I still come here though because I’m in and out so quickly the wasps are not a concern for me.

Not everything vegan is clearly labeled and some "vegan" items contain honey so be sure to ask! Has a nice selection of dairy free milks and baked goods. Soy matcha latte was excellent. Apple crumble bar was dry and just OK. Not very apple-y. Cozy and quiet inside but limited seating.

This is my go to coffee place as it's just a few blocks from home. They make a great decaf latte, I really like the North Mountain coffee they use. They also have great breakfast sandwiches. They're nothing fancy but perfect when you need breakfast on the run at a reasonable price. The staff are always lovely and it's nice to see the owner working right alongside them every time I'm in!

Love coming here for the peace and quiet I crave with the added bonus of a lovely cappuccino and my English Muffin for breakfast (with salmon, egg, cheese and avocado)

My favourite coffee in the city hands down. HOWEVER: have heard rumblings that the owner isn’t great to his staff. Cashiers seem to be in constant rotation. They also frequently display copies of a “Police Vision” magazine… Meaning they either have a subscription or are going out of their way to buy copies on their own. This is really not what I like to see given the questionable behaviour displayed by local and global police in recent years (racial profiling, destruction of the shelters of houseless people, etc etc). Service is quick, drinks are to die for and all the baked goods I’ve tried have been tasty. In this warmer months I enjoy sitting outside but this isn’t a place I would ever come to to study as there are only two very small tables inside, fair warning they have a wasp problem in the summers. Such a quirky, beautiful little place!! I had a pumpkin spice soy latte, which was good. I was a little taken aback by the teabag in the coffee itself as I’m accustomed to pumpkin spice syrups, but it added a hint of ✨cozy rustic✨ (I liked it!!). Also this place provides syrups for you to sweeten your drinks with at no additional cost! Also not accustomed to this and I think it shows a care for individual customization. This place is narrow!! Like really narrow. Like vertical storage narrow. This narrowness somehow made me feel really safe and cocoon-y. I would honestly LIVE here if I could (little hammock hanging from the ceiling). One thing: there were lots of wasps here when I went (early October).

REALLY good decaf americanos! If you drink decaf you know how many coffee shops just can't do it right.Baristas are friendly and bring your drink around the counter to you. It's definitely a to-go coffee place and they're pretty quick.

Such a lovely, iconic cafe in Halifax. You must visit whether you are in town for a day or a decade. Love the sandwiches and the coffee!
