Out walking and I stopped in to try some pastry. I was so surprised, once I bit into the Mozart dessert, I couldn't believe the hazelnut filling!!! It was so creamy and delectable and not overly sweet, like in America. As I was eating I could not believe that I had stumbled across such a wonderful bakery, such as this place! The almond rings were great. The gingerbread was also good. The sourdough bread was good.
As a bread expert with an abundance of international bread experience I think the rolls (specifically for lobster rolls) are excellent.
Lightly chewy, soft but reasonably crispy crust, good flavour, excellent rise and bake. Chefs kiss.
