“I went to a place to look at pool sticks near the Italian market and the shop did not exist. A big let down but the wind blew us across the street right to a place i felt like home The staff members are great
... the owner makes you feel like part of the family. I took a picture of a picture and made it how is felt sitting there. It was empty with no one around and then it started change... people start to appear. I spoke to an older couple their Anniversary is June 4th ours is June 5th he was a cop and his wife was an attorney... he said I put the in she get them out ... he liked my ancient... I never knew i had one A he said got to love Canadian people i hope the owner likes the picture and if you take a cruise to Canada make sure to stop by the Italian market..“

“Pastries here were fantastic! My boyfriend and I tried an assortment of baked goods, from eclairs to gingerbread men—none of which disappointed! Lovely place to stop by for a sweet treat, though do note that there is no seating inside or nearby unfortunately. I also would have posted more photos of the treats but they were eaten before I had the chance to.“

“The staff are extremely kind, patient, and willing to help when deciding what flavor of donut you're choosing. The donuts themselves aren't soggy whatsoever, the perfect ratio of crisp/ moist, and not overly heavy when eating them. The price is also a sweet deal, 10 for $7 !!! 10/10 would recommend for a sweet treat !!!“

“The Bread Lounge has the best sandwiches in Halifax, at both the North End and Burnside locations. The cheese croissant is phenomenal and one of the best I’ve ever had ANYWHERE!! I also just had a catered event at the Burnside location yesterday and everything was flawless. “I ordered Taylor Swift Cookies for my friends 30th birthday. It was kind of last minute and I'm located in Newfoundland. Halsey Cakes took my order and was so easy to deal with. The cookies were beautiful and my friend absolutely loved them. Highly recommend Halsey Cakes.“

“I read it`s burnt, then I read it`s not cooked enough. I read it gets green mold on it. What is it with you people? It is not burnt and if you got a batch that was not cooked enough because they are trying to make everybody happy. Only a real not very sharp person would complain about mold. It is a very old recipe that when it made, it was used the same day. No refridgeration back then. MORE IMPORTANTLY NO PRESERVATIVES it will turn green if not used. You eat the stuff that has all the preservatives in it and you might not turn green either! Good luck!

“I had a piece of birthday cake from Susie's it was my sons girlfriends birthday she brought us a few slices of Vanilla with buttercream icing it was to die for so sweet and delicious. I have to say I was impressed I generally go for Chocolate but I have to say I would order it myself. Can't wait to stop by and try the peanut butter Cup cupcake looks so yummy!!!“
