“We were absolutely amazed by Famous Town Pie Shop’s cakes and decided to order our wedding cake here! The cake was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. They were so easy to collaborate with and truly made an effort to understand what we wanted for our cake. It was absolutely delicious and such a hit at our wedding.“

“Stopped there for a quick coffee n snacks break on our way back to Halifax. Best location, next to Irving gas station and the St James Anglican Church. Team is very welcoming. Enough parking spots.

“We went on a day trip on our ATV's and stopped in for a meal at Island View. The food and service was fantastic. I have to say though, the people we passed along our journey through the area seemed to be very anti-ATV and gave us dirty looks and seemed very snobby.“

“We went today there while they where at the LCLC for Canada Day and we were really happy with what we got. My wife had a brownie and I had a carrot cake, and when I noticed they had mistakenly given me a smaller piece they gave me another for free!!! Same with my girls who got themselves a chocolate cookie just because they wanted to be nice!! Like how often does that happen? The girls there were very energetic and generous, what a great experience!“

“We stopped in last weekend on our way through Chester Basin and were glad we did, the harbor view from the window seats made it hard to leave. My husband got the seafood chowder and couldn't stop talking about it, while I had a lemon poppyseed muffin that was still warm. The woman behind the counter chatted with us about the area like we were old friends and even pointed us toward a nice lookout down the road. Parking right out front made it easy too, we'll definitely stop by again next time we're out this way.“
