Great hand made Hong Kong style pastries!
The cookies are super buttery and flavorful. The custard moon cakes are dense, rich, and delicious. I absolutely love the recyclable paper box. Shipping is fast as it only took 5 business days from NE Canada to SW US. Everything arrived in good shape despite of the summer heat.

Hélène Jaune Japanese Cheesecake is a bakery that has left some customers absolutely spoiled with its quality. The permanent location is behind Pete's *inside* the mall by going up the stairs or escalator. The absolute quality of the cake shows the amount of care to quality that the bakers are pouring into all their delicious goods. The cakes are creamy, fluffy, light, with delicate amounts of flavour mixed amazingly. This would be amazing for after sports or a family get-together. Every Nova Scotian should come here to try at least once and then repeat as needed. Some customers love everything there, rating nuggets as top 1, cookies in tin box as top 2, and a coconut thing as top 3. The sweet is well made, not too sweet, with everything balanced about flavor and tasting, worth every pennies. There is a special cake (Japanese cheese cake) that is a most favorite cake in whole Halifax desserts. It is an order item, not ready to sell right away, so customers should contact Eric before coming. However, some people have had trouble finding the place, with one person spending half an hour searching and asking stores around with nobody hearing of it. Another person drove from Dartmouth but could not find it, believing it got closed.
