I had a very disappointing experience here. The wait time for food was around 30–40 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all—just a few people inside. That made it even more frustrating, and not once did anyone check in or apologize for the long wait. The customer service felt oblivious, like they didn’t care that customers were waiting.
I also noticed some concerning hygiene issues. Since it’s an open kitchen, it’s very noticeable when staff aren’t following proper food safety practices. One staff member with long hair wasn’t wearing a hairnet, and another had one on only halfway, leaving hair exposed. On top of that, the washroom was very dirty, which added to the negative impression.
It’s a shame, because the place itself looks nice, but the lack of service, long unexplained wait times, and poor attention to cleanliness

Have been going to Pita Pit for a long time now, and it’s usually been good. today I found in my pita a bread clip, wasn’t quite expecting to chew down on that of all things. Might continue going but this was not the most favourable.

The staff seemed completely uninterested in customer service—barely acknowledged me, got the order wrong, and acted like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. The restaurant itself was dirty. Tables were sticky, floors had trash, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Absolutely not worth the money. Never going back. Save yourself the disappointment.

Stale bell peppers, no access to tissues, no quality pita, noticeable reduction in portion size without a corresponding drop in basic price. Reading its reviews and despite getting repeated bad reviews, looks like there is no change, only mail redirection to [email protected]. Please stop cost cutting and provide quality food. Pita pit in Darthmouth has the best quality pitas and best services with least servers also.
