Very cool place. All my favorite movies are everywhere.

One of my favourite places in Halifax. Lots of cabinets and pine, Ian and the crew make the place really special.

The storefront is nice and reasonable. The "arcade" is a let-down, and gross. Staff were great.

Games in the arcade: bunch of pinball, buck hunter with wonky guns, and a couple of Mortal Kombats. Gotta pay a dollar per game, but don't get much out of a round (I've just been to much better arcades, where you can play almost an entire game for $5).

The bathroom. The bathroom was one of the grossest bathrooms I have ever been in, including gas station bathrooms and seedy bar bathrooms. Identify as whatever you want, cool. I don't care, just don't behave like an untrained animal. I went to the "toilets only" bathroom, and noticed far too late in my stall that someone urinated on the floor. My skirt was in their urine, which then touched my leg, when I had to go back and finish my drink. Walked home fighting the urge to vomit the whole way. My sister in-law said the other two stalls also had urine all over the floors, so it was unavoidable. Also, there was hate speech written on the back on the stall door, which the business seems fine with leaving there because it was probably written by a minority.

**Edit: I had to severely edit this review because I believe that it triggered possible auto filtering by Google because of relatively sensitive keywords. If this review remains hidden, though, it'll be quite obvious that the business has requested its removal because hate speech from a minority group is acceptable to them.

Edit #2: Thought I should also provide the perspective of the "toilets and urinals" bathroom that my brother and spouse had. The urinals are on elevated platforms that look down into the stalls. So, my brother could've watched my spouse poop if he liked. Also, reduced from 2 stars to 1 star because I didn't realize that the storefront has a different review page. Overall, unsafe, unsanitary, and unwelcoming.

Great beer, great service and conversation from Will, he knows his stuff and was very helpful as a tour guide. The downstairs arcade is ridiculous. If you like beer and cool spaces this is a must.

Such a beautiful space with a wonderfully weird arcade downstairs. There’s great bartenders and great brews. Go on Tuesday when it’s $10 free play at the arcade!

A super interesting bar. The top is calm and laid back while the bottom is arcade filled with a stimulating vibe. The beer there is delicious and varied. I highly recommend!

Went for the free play arcade ($10 cover) plus beer, and came away happy (even if I am terrible at pinball). Really enjoyed their Shandy. Appreciated their arcade setup where all the machines have a drink holder to keep things clean and simple while you play.

This place is awesome. Head downstairs and there's a whole level of great pinball machines and other arcade games. You can get change from the bartender. There's also karaoke there every other Thursday, where you spin a wheel after you sign, and can potentially win ramen or a menthol cigarette from the last pack of menthol cigarettes in the province. Bands play there as well. My idea of heaven overall.

You guys would be so popular with a DDR machine or a Dancecrush machine

What a vibe. Love it here!

It's super. They seem to have really gone hard on having pinball machines since I was there a couple of years ago, I feel like there was better balance with other arcade games back then. So, I was a bit disappointed, but there's still enough variety for a shorter visit and I recommend experiencing the barcade once. The people are stellar! I'd recommend not sitting anywhere near the basketball game though. It's so, so loud... by the tables is an awful spot for it.

This is my favorite place in the city, my crippling pinball addiction may have something to do with this. They also have awesome beverages and super helpful / pleasant staff. Their Pins are meticulously maintained along with their classic arcade games. Sunday and Tuesday machines are set to freeplay, $10 cover and you can ball till you fall or until they turn on the lights. Spend your time and money here! ?

Their pins are meticulously maintained along with the contemporary and classic arcade games they keep. Sunday and Tuesday are free play days at $10 flat. Awesome deal. A lot of the game machines are half broken or not working properly. It’s a shame cause there are some good games down there. But not worth $1 a play to not even be able to play two players.
