Wasn't this place on the other side of the road many years ago?

You need a new DJ.. one that plays different genres of music and languages. Not just dubstep.

First time going out in about four years had drink and went to the dance floor, and just danced (away from the kids to meet friends ) first time at the new location. Atmosphere and people in bar were terrible.Unfortunately I was removed fir apparently arguing with someone. This never happened. I asked the young bouncer who he thought I was arguing with and he wouldn't say. Just kicked me out.

Terrible. Way too many people were at risk of being taken advantage of or injured last night from being too intoxicated. Bouncers were not doing anything. Customers had to do the work of the bouncers in protecting women who were being taken advantage of. They are recently under new management and I'm pretty disappointed.

I seen so many black out girls still being served alcohol while falling down, and being preyed on by sober men. It's definitely not a gay bar anymore, or a safe bar

I had to yell at guys to get off of drunk girls. It was ridiculous. I, as a customer, should not have to do the work of the bouncers. I saw way too many girls who could not even stand up straight because of how much they'd had to drink. Once bouncers were notified, they were incredibly helpful, but there was no one patrolling the dance floor. I understand that the new management team wants to expand the club's clientele and no longer want the club branded as an LGBTQ+ specific place, but gay bar or not, people have the right to go out and have fun and not have to put themselves in harm's way to protect girls from sexual assault five times in one night. New management needs to be held accountable for creating and fascilitating an environment in which this night was allowed to happen. Do better.

While the location is new, much of the atmosphere is the same. A little on the seedy side at times, Refs is also the best dance club in town.

I honestly can't recommend this bar to anyone in the Lgbta community. The music is like really bad 90s dude hip hop. I didn't hear any of my main girls, no Rihanna, no Britney, no Beyoncé, and definitely no Whitney. Can you really call yourself a gay bar without them? No. Looking around the establishment I saw women, and straight couples exclusively, the only gays in the bar were people that came in the group I was in. So, just reiterating this is not a gay establishment and if management would like it to be, then they should put some more work into catering to that clientele. Also get a better DJ preferably a gay one, always good to contribute to your community!

Great and safe space - however, the music has been not up to par lately. Most notably on Halloween. Any DJ that thinks its okay to throw on a simple remix of Party Up by DMX shouldn't be DJing at a club. The music should be fresh, new and suitable for a late night club.

Frankly haven't been inside this bar but witnessed a large bouncer at the entrance of the bar take a drink from a petite lady who was exiting and he threw it right at her face! Totally unnecessary! Yes take the drink away but the rest of his actions were appalling. I would not feel safe entering this establishment.
