A nice place to either grab a snack or a meal. The food was good and the place is clean with inside and outside ( when the weather is good) . Will visit again as good eateries are in Short supply .
Fabulous Dinner. Halibut was fresh and perfectly cooked. Lobster rizzo to die for.
Great food, great service…Fresh oysters and lobsters ! Amazing view ! We do recommend this place !

Salty's offers a great dining experience with friendly and attentive service. While the food is generally good, some dishes stand out more than others, such as the seafood platter and lobster roll. The upstairs restaurant provides a beautiful view of the water, and the atmosphere is enhanced by the kind and considerate servers who go the extra mile to make the evening enjoyable.
Salty's is a staple at the Halifax waterfront, offering all the go-to seafood dishes like chowder, fish and chips, scallops, and lobster. The scallops and fish and chips are particularly well-received, with the scallops being melt-in-your-mouth and the fish and chips being fresh, not oily, and the breading light and crunchy. The calamari is also praised for being not chewy and light and soft. The cornbread, served with a proportionally large serving of butter, is another highlight.
The restaurant features dozens of indoor and outdoor tables with patio umbrellas, offering a great seating and view. The staff is attentive, and orders are served quickly. Unfortunately, Salty's will be forced to close after this summer due to their lease not being renewed, along with other waterfront businesses, due to restoration and renovation work in the area.
