Visited the Westin NS Hotel and had dinner at SPS- the food and service was excellent and a good vibe to the place. We had 3 people coming to serve us and ensuring we were satisfied. Will definitely visit again!

My chicken was very dry and my bacon was barely cooked. I was expecting much more for the price of the food

Attended Happy Hour prior to another event. Service was quick, polite and efficient. We recieved our food order shortly after ordering. The appetizers were well presented and absolutely delicious. Drinks were good and our small additions were happily met. Value for the drinks and food were obviously good as it was Happy Hour. Will definitely return.

the food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary but overall it tasted good, the service was not that great. I'm typically very patient but considering the restaurant was not busy when we went— it was kind of frustrating. Plenty of people at the table. Had to ask for things multiple times.

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with the in-laws. Very tasty. Excellent and attentive service.
My only suggestion would be to play seasonal music. The loud, thumping dance music showed a lack of judgment.

I've got it in my calendar to book early for next year.

Good food and great service however we saw 2 mice running around the dining room area after our main course, we informed our waitress but she said there's nothing they can do and it happens when it's not busy. She did offer to switch tables but it wouldn't really change anything. It's absolutely disgusting as we have been to many restaurants downtown in the Halifax area and don't usually see mice running around the the dining room. It's unfortunate because the food and service was good.

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary with some friends. The food, drinks and server were all outstanding! Definitely will be going back.

Our experience at Seaport Social was second to none. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks, and had a wonderful evening. We arrived in time to try a few of the happy hour appetizers. The dumplings were delicious and got a 10/10 from some happy children. For our main course, we went with lobster and chicken clubs and everything was very good. The fries were also some of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. I would make a trip back in for the lobster club even if we weren't staying at the Westin. Tracy was an awesome server, was so personable and was great with the kids too. She gave us some excellent recommendations on what to try and definitely hit the nail on the head. The hotel and restaurant are beautifully decorated for the holidays. A must try this holiday season!

Went for high tea with a friend back in the spring. Amazing experience. Mind blowingly good food, and an excellent selection of tea - and I am very picky about tea! The restaurant is classy without being too formal/stiff. We felt welcome and relaxed and had wonderful service. If I could remember our server's name I would mention it as she was fantastic. Would recommend. Only wish the tea happened more frequently!

We came for the Thanksgiving dinner special and some wine. The food was very tasty and the wine that was recommended paired quite nice. The service was very good. I would visit again

We loved our server, Tracey (originally from Newfoundland). She was incredible. We had the Thanksgiving meal, which was so yummy and filling. Also, we came in thinking we had a reservation for the Thanksgiving dinner, only to learn that the service didn't start for another hour or so, yet the staff accommodated us at the first available opportunity to start serving the holiday meal. Everything about the meal and service was perfect.

Enjoyable lunch for our group of six in a clean and fairly quiet setting even though the restaurant is next to the busy main entrance of the Nova Scotian hotel. We chose Seaport Social for proximity to the cruise ship terminal as two relatives we hadn't seen in decades came in on the Queen Mary 2 and were in Halifax just for a few hours, so had lunch there before sightseeing along the nearby boardwalk and downtown. So it was chosen for convenience but we were pleasantly surprised by the ambience, quick service, variety of menu items, and delicious food with generous portions, especially their seafood chowder.

Interesting experience at the Seaport Social restaurant in the Westin NS this weekend.

I was picking my parents up from their Anniversary night in the city. They come to see me in NS a couple of times a year from the UK. When I arrived they suggested we stay for lunch before driving back to the Valley and when I looked at the menu I agreed instantly!

As a vegan, I saw the Vegan Club Sandwich with side of Onion Rings and I knew that would hit the spot beautifully. The Canada v England women's rugby final was on the tv, we were in comfortable seats, it was great.

After ordering, it then took an hour for our food to arrive. I was starving at this point and perhaps feeling a little 'hangry'. But when it arrived, it looked amazing and I was excited to put my face in it. The club sandwich has an Aioli dressing and there was a side aioli for the onion rings. It crossed my mind that this dip may not be vegan, so I asked, the waitress checked, and I was right. I was hungry, I had ordered a vegan handheld off the menu, and I had a non-vegan dip - I was disappointed and shared that perhaps when someone orders a dish with vegan in the title that they shouldn't put a non-vegan dip with the side.

They brought the vegan dip out pretty soon after that, it was delicious, and lunch was incredible (albeit an hour after ordering).

With the wait and the dip, I was going to rate the service 3/5, but after we finished, the manager came to apologise and check on us. They didn't charge us for coffee or for the onion rings and I was really impressed with how they made up for the disappointment.

Great recovery and a tasty lunch!

Went to the restaurant yesterday for my birthday dinner and regretted it so bad because of the poor service . I and my friends were standing for about almost 20mins with heels!! Just to wait to get seated and mind you we made eye contacts with the waitress and bar server and spoke to one of them doing nth and said he’s coming but never came back. waiting to be attended to but we were completely ignored, we had to meet the hotel receptionist guys to complain about the situation of no one coming to attend to us. We felt embarrassed as people were just staring at us standing for a long time and don’t know if that was a racism behaviour. Totally not acceptable.
