Our experience at Seaport Social was second to none. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks, and had a wonderful evening. We arrived in time to try a few of the happy hour appetizers. The dumplings were delicious and got a 10/10 from some happy children. For our main course, we went with lobster and chicken clubs and everything was very good. The fries were also some of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. I would make a trip back in for the lobster...
We loved our server, Tracey (originally from Newfoundland). She was incredible. We had the Thanksgiving meal, which was so yummy and filling. Also, we came in thinking we had a reservation for the Thanksgiving dinner, only to learn that the service didn't start for another hour or so, yet the staff accommodated us at the first available opportunity to start serving the holiday meal. Everything about the meal and service was perfect.
Enjoyable lunch for our group of six in a clean and fairly quiet setting even though the restaurant is next to the busy main entrance of the Nova Scotian hotel. We chose Seaport Social for proximity to the cruise ship terminal as two relatives we hadn't seen in decades came in on the Queen Mary 2 and were in Halifax just for a few hours, so had lunch there before sightseeing along the nearby boardwalk and downtown. So it was chosen for convenience but we were pleasantly surprised...
