A really great pasta restaurant! I chose the spiced salmon and it was absolutely delicious. If you're a pasta lover, this place is a must-visit. Also, Ruby's service was excellent! I'll definitely come back with friends to try different pastas. We didn't make a reservation in advance and it was very busy on a weekend night.

I went to this restaurant because it was raining and it’s just a one-minute walk from the Marriott where I’m staying. The place was completely empty, and when I asked for a table for one, the person at the counter told me they were “full” and that it would take over an hour. It was hard not to feel that my skin color might have been the real reason. I walked over to the Stubborn Goat right next door, which was almost full, and they welcomed me right away and found me a seat immediately. Very disappointing experience, especially when I chose this place just to avoid the rain.

Had the best server at Sketti & Ball. She was so attentive and had great energy. We tried the biggest mozzarella sticks and they lived up for the hype! The pesto fries were alright as they could have been crispier but the chocolate cheesecake was fluffy and incredible. Overall, had a wonderful time and will be back for those mozzarella sticks.

I originally made a reservation for four people. We ended up having a fifth person, to which they graciously accommodated. Then someone brought their fiance, which made us a party of six. Our server was so sweet and accommodated us once again with no issues. Service was incredible, only to be outdone by the food. All six people in our party loved the giant mozza sticks and their mains.

This was our second time here. The food was good but not hot. We had to send our lunch back to be heated. Flavors were great, but not as good as our first visit. We went for lunch, not supper but I feel the quality should be the same regardless of time of day. Waitress didn't really seem like she was on the ball, so maybe the food sat longer than it needed to

We had the most lovely time at Sketti & Ball! As a celiac, it's one of my favourite places to go when visiting Halifax. They have excellent gf options and the servers/kitchen are very knowledgeable about cross-contamination. Our server Riley was an absolute doll as well!! 10/10 would recommend every time :)

Great atmosphere and great location. Sam who attended us was great in his service. Water that was served was warm not sure why. We ordered Cauliflower bites for app. It was good. A little overpriced for the dish. $16 We shared a Cesar salad, it was really good, great flavour. Also ordered chicken parm, great flavour. Really enjoyed that dish. Overall great atmosphere. Will come back again.

Overall, I'd recommend this as a great spot for drinks and apps. The dining room atmosphere was lovely and our server, Erika was helpful and kind. The mozza sticks were good, but given their cost I expected better. Both of our main pasta dishes were bland. The bathrooms require a professional deep clean.
