Tako Loko Mexican Restaurant

We reserved a table a night before and when We arrived there nobody came to us. We were just looking around for 10mins then the super unfriendly waitress guided us to a dirty table. The food was smelly (both chicken and steak tacos) I don’t recommend this place.

On a busy Friday night, we were served quickly and with smiles! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The drinks are just as yummy. The vibe is fantastic. Such sweet people! Give Tako Loko a try and enjoy!

Cute little hidden gem in the Hydrostone! Delicious authentic tacos - and $4 each on Taco Tuesday! Great service and the food is very fresh. Worth the visit - and every possible flavour of Jarritos you could want.

We visited this Mexican restaurant, Taco Loko and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

The food was extremely disappointing. Every chicken dish had a strong, unpleasant smell—not because the meat was spoiled, but because it was poorly seasoned. It seemed like they only used chili and completely skipped the rich mix of spices you’d expect in Mexican cuisine.

The staff didn’t help the experience either. They were cold, unfriendly, and their attitude felt dismissive and disrespectful. Even the way they looked at us made us feel unwelcome.

We left feeling uncomfortable and regretted wasting our time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

In the North End, among houses, laid-back, great tacos though a smidgen pricey. We parked on the street right in front. Ate outside. Discovered an old friend at the table next to ours. I'll be back.

This is the spot! Food is incredible, guacamole is fresh, burritos are hot, and the margaritas hit. So glad to have this gem in our neighbourhood. Get out of downtown and check this place out.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for an early supper. We’ve been wanting to try the food here for a while now. All I can say is wow! It was delicious! I felt like I was walking into a little cantina in Mexico. The tacos were amazing, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back soon!
