A large selection of board games available from this location, as well as a nice selection of snacks to pick from with not too large portions.

when it gets busy it might be a little hard to hear one another if you're playing a game, but that's my only minor complaint about this place. it's lively, the service and game selection is fantastic, and the food was really good to boot!

Good coffee (not bitter or sour tasting) and friendly service.
They have a selection of board games, mini supplies, and frisbee golf equipment for sale.

Service was good but the food was mediocre for the price. $20 for a basic Caesar salad is absolutely crazy. The Italian soda is super watered down and we had a hard time confirming what flavour was even in the cup. Staff didn’t really seem to care about any food issues. Tons of games and most of them are all in good shape.

We loved it here. The atmosphere was great, the boardgames menu took a lot or the guesswork of what game to play. The food menu was great too. Boozy milkshakes were awesome, cocktails (or potions) were fun and delicious too. Staff were very personable, and helpful. Would come back every time we are in the city!

Amazing place to spend a few hours and play a few new games. We tried their food which was pretty mid and on the pricier side, but the service from all the employees was great, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and there were soooo many games to try!
it's also an accessible location even though it doesn't look like it!
We will definitely be going back!

Very large selection of games curated into useful, easy to understand categories. The food and drinks were also top notch.

Very expensive but good food, good gluten free options as well accessible for wheelchairs. Service was great and they even showed us how to play. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Memorable night! Liam was super friendly and kind—we are visiting from out of town and he took the time to give his recommendations around town in addition to helping us with the games and great food/ drink service. The games themselves were fun, and there were plenty of options for just two people as well. The other staff members were just as helpful, patiently explaining the games and checking in on us. Highly recommend The Board Room!

Hubby and I spent a few hours playing boardgames there. It's quaint, quiet, and overall a nice atmosphere. The Game Bosses are super helpful. Plus, it's a pretty cheap date spot ? (Wish we had one in Antigonish!!)
