Supper and a live show, saw Taryn Kawaja and had the house burger and fries with a few cocktails. Well the music was amazing the the respect the audience had for the performance awesome. Food was great, my partner had the salmon and we would recommend both. Bill for food and drinks plus tip was around $150 that included dessert and 4 cocktails ? Tickets for the show $30-40 each

I was pleasantly surprised to find this supper-club-vibe, intimate space hosting an African a cappella group on a Tuesday night in downtown Halifax. I was even more surprised at how delicious and tender my sous vide steak was, served with perfectly cooked and salted fries.

Saw a great show, had a nice meal and glass of wine. I wish there were a few more salads on the menu, and maybe a few more shareable apps, but very satisfactory. The staff are the top-shelf there! Awesome and friendly.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and me so we could enjoy the Ashley MacIsaac show.

The Carleton is a long time supporter of local and upcoming talent of all types of music. I saw Judd Gunning tonight and he was awesome. It has a great atmosphere, food and very helpful staff. Tonight I had the pork belly & scallops appetizer and several Old Fashions. A+. I would have given it a 10 but Google only lets me give it a 5/5.

Really disappointing! I brought a group to hear some cool music ( jamming -not original “ concert” that was supposed to take place). We were rudely told TWICE ( in space of 2 minutes ) to be quiet when we were just quietly chatting . We were not being loud or rowdy or disrespectful at all. ( I could understand that was the case) Many others were talking as well but seemed they had something against us ! Ruined my night & I won’t bother to go back!

I've been to the Carleton 3-4 times now and it's always been a great experience.

The best (licensed, with food) listening room for live music east of Québec.
