Really disappointing! I brought a group to hear some cool music ( jamming -not original “ concert” that was supposed to take place). We were rudely told TWICE ( in space of 2 minutes ) to be quiet when we were just quietly chatting . We were not being loud or rowdy or disrespectful at all. ( I could understand that was the case) Many others were talking as well but seemed they had something against us ! Ruined my night & I won’t bother to go back!

Food was tasty but the value for your money is definitely not there. Small, small portions with a large price tag.
Service was ... well ... once the Food arrived that was the last I saw of the server. No followup, no asking if everything was OK, no asking if there was anything else . Didn't see her again until hours later when it was time for the bill.

Food is solid. Had the chicken sandwich and it was great - sneaky spicy so beware! Charcuterie was good as well but the real draw here is the live music. Great drink selection as well.

Our favourite venue for live music in Halifax. We attend shows often. The cocktails are amongst the best in the city. The food seems to have taken a downhill slide in terms of variety and quality in recent months, but is still good. I wish they would bring back a few of the old favourites like the kale salad and chicken bao buns.
Campbell and Johnston recommended the Carlton to us as a great venue for live music and they were right on the money! The band we saw, Swipe Right, were very talented and kept the crowd engaged! Lots of old blues numbers was just what we love. The service was excellent. The cocktail list was extensive and the bartender's attention to detail was spot on! We would love to go again.

I waited too long to come here. Great venue for a show. Service is very good, nice selection of drinks, food sounds amazing even though we didn't order anything. Definitely have to go back for a meal sometime.
