Food is solid. Had the chicken sandwich and it was great - sneaky spicy so beware! Charcuterie was good as well but the real draw here is the live music. Great drink selection as well.
Our favourite venue for live music in Halifax. We attend shows often. The cocktails are amongst the best in the city. The food seems to have taken a downhill slide in terms of variety and quality in recent months, but is still good. I wish they would bring back a few of the old favourites like the kale salad and chicken bao buns.
Campbell and Johnston recommended the Carlton to us as a great venue for live music and they were right on the money! The band we saw, Swipe Right, were very talented and kept the crowd engaged! Lots of old blues numbers was just what we love.
The service was excellent. The cocktail list was extensive and the bartender's attention to detail was spot on!
