The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Halifax

I know they are known for their steak but I had the blackened chicken and it was absolutely amazing. And the hot honey sauce was incredible. Also they have the best strawberry daiquiris anywhere

Awesome as usual . Steak was cooked just right and very tender. Baked potatoes are the best

They made a great steak and were very helpful and resourceful while dealing with my allergies.

Decided to try the Keg again as last time we went we were disappointed. Overall this time the service was ok. Our mains including the steaks were delicious. Salads had lettuce that should have been tossed. All brown. Other than that - better than it has been.

Moncton is still running the #1 spot, steak was delicious here but baked potato and salad were dry. Also, in Moncton servers are top notch watching to see if there is anything else they can do to ensure you have the best experience. Our server in Halifax was fine and she did her job but not overly friendly. We tipped well, hoping she was just having an off day. We have to remain kind as none of us know what someone else may be going through. Being kind people!!

The Keg always provides an outstanding meal. The Servers are top notch who enhance the experience.

Great service on a busy Saturday night. Keagan/Keaton was excellent. He was attentive checking in just enough.

The service was very good as well as the menu options, the steak could have been a bit more tender but overall was good.

Overall, very good meal. With respect to the Keg you pretty much know what you are going to get. The server was outstanding and that is where there was a difference. We had a young child with us and our server was especially attentive to the child and really set the mood. Highly recommend for future meals!!

Food and service were very good. The only issue I had was I was contemplating orders seasonal veggies as a second side. The waiter said my prime rib plate would include green beans and (beets? If I recall). There were no vegetables when it was served. Not a huge deal, but a small disappointment.

The food was good. But our meal was off put by not 1, not 2, but multiple mice running about not less then 5’ from our table grabbing spare fries on the floor. We put a complaint in, and we’re only offered 50% our meal. We will not be returning.

Terrific evening. We requested a special table - in front of the fireplace and away from crowded areas and that's what we got. Our server - Ryan - was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Food was very good. I always get the garlic shrimp appetizer - garlic, shrimp, cheese - how can you go wrong 😋. Well made cocktails! Was our anniversary and they acknowledged that a couple of times - much appreciated by us. A bit $$$, but that was expected. Overall 5 out of 5!

Superb. Delicious drinks too. Visited because we had a gift card but I'll definitely be back.
