Terrible service, pitchers were dirty and servers were rude. Food was soggy. Never coming here again.

Always a great live-music venue. Cold beer, fun crowd and great service. Cover charge has gone up in recent years but it’s still worth it IMO.

Absolutely love the fish and chips here. This is one of our "go to" restaurants when we visit Halifax.

This was our second event at The Lower Deck. Laura was extremely helpful during the contract process and from the time we arrived Laura and staff ensured our event was exactly what we were looking for. Great food, great atmosphere, helpful and kind staff. We look forward to planning our next event. Thank you to all involved. 5 stars, signed, Lisa

I first went there over 30yrs ago. Always a fun night or afternoon out there. The east coast has some amazing musical talent.

Historic community pillar. Great place with incredible staff for a pint and a bite or to host an event.

Iconic east coast vibes. Keith’s owned bar so the selection is limited but the Hazy IPA was tasty. Fried pepperoni and good tunes. A night of fun.

My wife and I came down for supper at 5 o’clock! As we walked in we were greeted by a doorman. He quickly told us about the cover fee of $8. I looked around and there wasn’t anyone set up to take money, however coat check was setting up. I looked at the time and it was 10 after 5. The doorman then told us it’s a deal because at 7 the cover charge goes to $11 dollars. There wasn’t music playing until 5:30.I used to work at this lower deck location and come back from time to time to enjoy the atmosphere. However a $8 cover fee starting at 5:00 seems like a good way to turn customers away.
