Today we arrived in Halifax, and because it was so cold, we accidentally “fell into” the Irish Alehouse.
We were totally surprised by the live music, which was really great.
We were treated to delicious food and great beer, and the service was really nice.
Conclusion: You have to go there!

I have always love The Old Triangle, but haven't been there in a long time. I was happy that little has changed. The service was great, music fantastic, I loved how old and young were up dancing to the live music, and the food is delish. This place is definitely my favorite pub in all of Halifax.

Had the Curry Chips, and I wasn't sure about it when I ordered, but I like trying new dishes. I was worried the curry would be overpowering as I'm not a big fan of the spice. It was amazing. The mashed peas were a good touch to the dish. My wife's meal was lovely, and my friends got a meat pizza with banana peppers and a burger plater. The staff took good care of us, and the secluded booths at the back helped us shut out some of the noise so we could catch up.

I went to visit friends in town after a long time away, pleased with the service, food and the fact they have private booths making it a great place to go socialize.

This place is amazing...from the "Old Irish Pub" atmosphere, to the live music and of course the amazing Irish inspired cuisine.
I'd go every day, if I could!

The Old Triangle Irish Ale House is one of the best pubs in Halifax. The food is great. The staff is very efficient and professional. It's a lot of fun! There's live music as well.

It's a classic Halifax pub that's been around since the dawn of time. The food is great, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is funky. There's often live music, and the snugs in the back are fantastic for a medium sized group.

We walked in for lunch and ordered the fish bites and chowder. The fish bites were delicious and the garlic mayo was fantastic. The chowder was full of seafood but lacked flavour.
