Our server was wonderful the food was so good and the atmosphere meant that I can catch up with an old friend for hours and felt no pressure.

Absolutely enjoyed the Fish n’Chips, service was polite fast and friendly for as busy as it was. Only downside for me was how loud the band was, couldn’t hardly hear yourself think let alone talk at your table. Mind you that seems to be the usual thing here with any of the live music

The best nachos! Great drinks and service. Sever was super friendly and we had a lovely chat as I gushed over the nacho goodness.

First time in Halifax from the UK, took a drive down to the waterfront area and stumbled across this bar!! The place was busy but we were seated straight away. Ordered Ploughman's and Irish Stew, both delicious and a couple of pots of breakfast tea!!! Loved it, great vibe? great food, great location!

I like this place most of the time. Some good music, decent food, nice atmosphere.
Occasionally the insular vibe is a bit much but mostly it’s cool.

Stopped in for a pint while my wife attended dance lessons... Had a great conversation at the bar with the fellow sitting next to me, while excellent live music was being played....my wife joined me after class and enjoyed the atmosphere so much, that she had a pint at the bar as well...

Great spot in downtown with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. The food came out fresh and full of flavor, and the service was quick even during the busy hours. Perfect place to relax with good music and enjoy a meal or drink. Definitely worth visiting again!

We passed by the old triangle for our last day in Halifax. The restaurant is an old establishment that is well worth the visit for its unique historical setting.

We ordered the fish bites, cheese pizza (off the kids menu), pan fried haddock and the mussels.

The food was good and hit the spot for a nice lunch meal. The fish bites were prepared fresh and seasoned nicely, with an excellent dipping sauce. The pizza was good but simple - lots of cheese and canned pizza sauce and the haddock was good. Nice chunk of fish but could be a little more crispy?

Overall it was a nice lunch spot but I would suggest exploring more in the area if you're looking for better seafood. I would say the atmosphere, good drinks and pub grub is what you should come by this spot for.
