Tusket Falls Beer Project

This place is one of my go to spots when I need a quick drink and bite to eat. Their food is way better than it should be. Burger, chicken sandwich, nachos, Ruben sandwich, all top notch.

The service is excellent. There is one guy that seems to be always there, who is super nice and attentive, always gives good recommendations.

The only downside for me is with the drinks. Their drinks are good, but options seem to be limited to their own brand (I guess obviously?), so sometimes doesn’t have something for everyone (didn’t have a stout when I was there last).

Overall really really good, will continue going here when I’m in the north end for a drink.

We visited early afternoon for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Modern, clean and tidy venue, great beers and good quality freshly-prepared food. Friendly service and good value. What more can we say? Well worth a visit 👍

I've been thinking about the nachos I had for weeks because they were so good. This place was amazing!

Was in NS for a weekend getaway a couple weeks ago and one of my favorite things to do while away is, try flights from different brewery’s and then take cans home with me from the beers I liked. Wife and I stopped in on a Saturday night (August 2nd) and the guy working there that night was good at first, offered us water, referred to the QR code on the table for digital menu etc. But when it came time to take our order I said “I’d like to have a flight” and without hesitation, point blank looked at me and word for word said “We don’t do flights here, we make decisions” basically telling me I’m supposed to just make up my mind, never even having their beer before. I actually laughed at first because I thought he was joking. He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. I told him I’ve never been to a brewery that I could not try a flight. He again, just shrugged his shoulders. Told him to give me a couple minutes. Well, he said make a decision, so I did, a decision to leave. He could have worded it more professionally or at least been more professional about not serving flights. We walked out, went to another well known brewery a few KM’s away and the staff and beers were great!

I never write reviews. But I could not let this one go. I’ve been in customer service the last 6 years and have not ever experienced anything like that. I hope this review is considered constructive and will help create a better customer experience for other people in the future. I myself, unfortunately will not be one of them.

I got to try the SWEET & SMOKEY FRIED CHICKEN SANDWHICH. The bun was served in a pool of honey, the fried chicken started falling apart, the bottom of the bun was all soggy and there was no bacon. Thought I’d mention it so it lines up with the tasty-sounding menu description which says “Buttermilk fried chicken tossed in a smokey bacon honey with arugula, mayo, gouda. Served on an LF Bakery milk bun.”

Had a wonderful dinner on the patio here tonight. Server was so kind and welcoming to my two kids, and the food and beer were excellent. Highly recommend.

I was at Tusket Falls Beer project in early July. First time back in Halifax in a while, and a revelation that there could be someplace this good in the north end. No shade on the north end, it was just that good. When telling people about TFBP I have been describing the Reuben sandwich as “The best I have ever had”, which is 100% true. There really was nothing about this place, from the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food and drink that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Just go and try it.

Enjoyed a beer, cider and the loaded fries with crispy chicken on the covered patio. Great service, cold drinks and tasty food. Great spot!

Best burgers in the city, especially the Southern Smoke, and the staff are super friendly!
