Absolutely fantastic service and homemade food!

Ordered 3 servings of the 2 piece fish and chips for delivery. Asked for extra tartar sauce, even offered to pay extra. The portions are huge (which is a good thing) but they only included one packet of tartar sauce per serving. In what world does a sample size packet of tartar sauce seem enough for a 2 piece meal? Why are they being so miserly with tartar sauce?!

We go to Willmans almost every week it’s very inviting and clean , the food portion is very generous, I love the mixed sea food platter they price fairly and I can’t wait to have a beer and nachos at the deck outside cheers to Lucien and family thank you for your excellent service 🥂

wow just got fish and chips and gravy delivered from them, wow they went down hill. Must be new owners. Fish, the fish itself was edible the batter was mush the fries were like rubber the gravy from a can from cosco on a guess. Is sad used to go there every week on payday when I lived up there now was not happy. To bad used to be good seafood at a fair price.

The food is acceptable. I found the batter to be bitter and it is excessively priced. They charge an additional fee for tartar sauce. I am experiencing buyer's remorse. I could have prepared a more affordable and superior meal at home. I ordered the clams and chips. I find them to be rather small. My husband ordered the small buoy platter, which includes some clams, two scallops, and a piece of fish. This experience has motivated me to purchase a deep fryer and prepare my own food. I am genuinely frustrated with myself, haha. I must mention that they do provide a generous amount of clams, but once again, they are small. We have dined at upscale restaurants and enjoyed appetizers and desserts for the same amount we spent today on two meals, one pop, and two small tartar sauces. My mother inlaw wanted half clams half scallops, they were the same price. They said no. She had to settle for two scallops, in which didn't really have any taste according to her.
I will not return.

Probably the Best fish 🐟 and chips I ever had. The quantity was a bit small but, I guess it's just hit or miss. It's a bit expensive then most places. They charge you for tartar sauce and a beer 🍺 is $9 a bottle. Bit steep I definitely to go back there thou.

food was delicious, considerably affordable prices, only downside is they don’t serve vegetables with the fish and chips, definitely get the tar tar sauce for $1.50, the chips were nice and crispy

We spent a lot of money and were really disappointed with the quality of the fairly expensive lobster roll. The lobster was chewy and the bread roll was hard. We had to throw away the bread rolls. The fries that came with it were also not very good.
The seafood chowder was somewhat better albeit somewhat diluted,
Definitely not worth the $$….
If you have had the fantastic lobster roll at Tom’s at Peggy’s cove (like we had) then you would be terribly disappointed.

Always fresh and delicious - Picked up an order after work today and the customer service was exceptional. Young guy working the whole place alone was attentive to us and other customers while cooking (!). Food was made quickly and perfectly - even gave us water while we waited. He was so sweet and really made our experience tonight. Can’t wait to be back again and again!!!

Just picked up a 2 piece and can’t get over how small the fish is. Should have read the reviews first I guess. Total rip off!!

Fish was tasty, but the pieces are quite thin. Good portions overall, though, and prices are reasonable.

I just got an all clams (no fries) order from here - when I walked in a worker (not the owner) said you have the lg fries and clams? I said nope just the all clams - he said oh right I got it wrong. - but clearly he made it already - after a couple minutes

He hands me my order and I paid $28 - I got to the car felt super light from my previous experiences and I opened it. Barely the bottom of a large take out container was covered with clams - like barely one layer of clams.

and that was when I realized he just said screw it and just gave me whatever he cooked, that was suppose to be on top of the fries. He just left the fries out and basically gave me the smallest order of clams ive ever received from here for an all or only clams order.

Customer service has gone out the window I didn’t even bother going back. As a long time customer it just feels like crap having to come back and fight for what I paid for. It is honestly so frequent in businesses right now it’s disheartening and makes it not even worth it because then you just get people go pretend they all the sudden don’t know what’s up and down and make you feel stupid for expecting to get what you paid for.

$28 is pretty steep to have to still buy food after. Rough first experience of the season might be the last. $28 what it cost for me to realize I most likely won’t be back.

I can get a large gourmet pizza for $28 from Salvatore’s one door down and feed an entire family of people.

I ordered a pickup order on Good Friday, which is admittedly a busy time for a fish store. They gave me a precise pickup time. I arrived at the pickup time and food was not ready so I waited. After waiting about 35 minutes, and seeing people with later pickup times getting their food, I asked the cashier to check on my order to ensure it was not lost. The cashier assured me that it was not. After another half hour with no food, I asked again about my order and they confirmed that it had been lost. Food was good but management skills are definitely lacking.

Definitely the best fish and chips in Halifax.
